Saturday morning update! Just over week 7, looking forward to the final month (ish) of swelling and ripening. The terps on these are outstanding, the exhaust vent smells amazing.
Here is a pic with flash just for fun:

I'll start soon, I've just been going over my seed list and considering my options. I traded a bunch of seeds with my RL friends who grow in December and got some great stuff, so I have a ton of choices, just doing some research on all of them. I do have a nice new tent to veg them which I'm setting up over the next few days, a new 3x3 tent with a maxisun mg3000, so I can actually veg them for a while in it. The 2x2 was just too crowded to do any real vegging in, but it's great for seedlings or bonsai moms.

Haha i feel u! Im "a bit" too early with my plants in 2x2 since i decided to not do another vertical round. So i already have 16 tops each and i have another 4 weeks to wait until I got some free space for these. They are probably going to have a lot of super cropping! IMG_20220125_202243.jpg

That's an impressive amount of plants and training in a 2x2! Nice job! My current light in my 2x2 doesn't give a good spread, but I'm hoping that cheapy 150 watt bar light will do the trick, you've got some nice looking leaves on those plants.

Thanks, thats about maximum on that space ;) I use 315w cmh which is dimmed down to 50%. I feel like these are best lights for veg. But in flower those new led lights are just something else.

Oh that makes sense, CMH is pretty amazing, I love the light. I have a 630 CMH that I love in many ways, but the LED really increased my yields and I don't have to worry about those HID bulbs which freak me out a little, so LED sort of won me over, but not by a lot. CMH grows beautiful plants, the foliage and flowers both look so healthy.

Yep true that, with cmh everything looks super fresh. But still not that same amazing tightness on buds what led does. Its tight but not 2g/w tight :D

Now that I'm entering the home stretch of around 1 month left, I've been looking back on my mistakes this grow and what I will do different next time. First of all, I will veg a bit less, stick with 16 primary bud sites per plant rather than 20-30, and train more since I will have more space to work with. The buds that have light damage on their top most leaves are all 16-18 inches from the light, and two strains are showing damage at that distance. The buds at 20 inches look perfect, so next time I'll shoot for that final distance and see if I can avoid leaf damage. My second problem was a bit of tip burn and some nitrogen claw that happened right after I ran out of my old brand of soy hydrolysate (gs plant foods) and switched to a new brand (DTE Agmino.) What I realized is, the agmino is vastly more water soluble than the GS plant foods, it just instantly dissolves in water-amazing stuff really. The problem is, the agmino is much more bioavailable, so I ended up overdosing my plants with nitrogen, though really just the Old Red Sour is showing it much. I'm pretty happy with my modified Jack's 321 ratio (modified due to high calcium content of my tap water). For 4 gallons of water with a starting ppm of 140 (500 scale) I'm adding 8g part a, 2 g MKP, 3g Epsom and then 4 grams Calnit, this is during Bloom. During Veg I pretty much did equal parts. That bloom mix ends up being about 1.1 ec, which then goes up slightly with about 10 ml seaweed extract, 4 ml Mr Fulvic. Lastly, I've dosed them with 1 aspirin per gallon once every two weeks since 12/12 flip. Judging from my trichome coverage on the Petrol Skunk clone that I've grown before, I believe this might be having a positive effect in that area. Either way, it certainly hasn't hurt anything.

Blue D#5-Showing some of that Blueberry ancestry-incredible OG terps just keep getting better. Karma's Biker Kush gets a lot of credit (for good reason) but I think his Josh D OG should get some too. I feel like the name is the only thing that held it back, Karma should have done that strain on his own and not involved Josh D in any way.

Looking back on pics from last time, she's much frostier at this stage of growth-

White Widow-completely lost the peach smell! Like it never existed in the first place....maybe it didn't exist...Honestly, she won't yield much but she's got some rock hard little nuggies and I bet will be killer smoke.

Time for a quick update. I'll stretch the updates out a bit more since not much really happens at this stage, size is more or less set and just waiting on ripening and swelling to happen. I've noticed a few buds on strong stems fall over, which is always a good sign-they are starting to put on some weight!

Well shoot, I was going to do an update this morning but my lights shut off after I snapped this single shot. The past ten days have been a grower's nightmare. At least a dozen power outages during that time, with a 24 hour period over the weekend going on and off every few hours, for hours at a time. Humidity skyrocketing each time of course. I gave the girls another dose of aspirin water just in case that's working, and it FINALLY seems to be over with 3 straight days of no outages...knock on wood. Anyway, my timer was reset so many times it's slightly off from what I'm used to, so I'll do the update tomorrow. Here is the pic I got today, Old Red Sour showing some sweet genetic foxtailing and nice frost. I'm keeping a CLOSE eye out for nanners after this week!

I really hope that you don't have any nanners, that would be such a disappointment.
