Awesome man, sub'd for this one!
Thanks man!

Just a little update, they seemed a bit stretchy so I moved them a bit closer to the light. The purple haze seems like it has a jump on the other ones and already seems a bit top heavy! Later guys

Thanks for the kind words. I was going to do a 1000w but was worried about heat here in AZ. Beyond that its my first go at this so I decided to go with the 600w hybrid bulb. All the gear seems to work good, Ive only turned it on for a test run though because they are just seedlings so I didn't feel the need! It took me so long to decide on what seeds to order!!!! I just put in another order to Attitude to pick up those awesome freebies they are doing right now (LA confidential, Super Lemon Haze, and Pineapple Chunk) I ordered three G13 Labs seeds as they were the first to sprout with my current grow and all have nice stalky stems! I don't know if I would be able to have that kind of stuff in the garage and NOT use it! haha.. Well any words of advice or anything you see I can do better let me know!

Yeah I will most likely go with 3 gallon smart pots. Not 100% sure on size but I only want to transplant once and going straight to a 5 gallon would be pretty stressful for the girls. They are like $5 straight from the airport website! I can't wait for these girls to get big and pretty. I've put A LOT of thought into topping and LST, BUT I have not come to a final decision. What are your thoughts on that? Did you do either?

I understand what you mean about the transplanting...if you look at my pics you will notice I made that mistake early on when i didn't know as much about growin' indoor and....your gonna die laughing at this one....went right from super small pots i started them in..probably like 6 or 8 inch pots right into 3.8 gallon pots....:wall:....well obviously i thought this was great for them...i mean why not right?...big new happy home for their roots.....well turns out...i was WRONG, like in a major way...lol...i am sure it has effected my yield...oh well...live and learn........what size are you planning on finishing your girls in if you don't mind me asking..? The only piece of advice i can pass on about this subject is bigger is better as far as pot size goes...i am gonna run into my flower room and snap a pic right quick to show you what i mean...I have a few plants of the same strain that I put into 5 gallon pots instead of the 3.8 i had previously been using and WOW...what a HUUUUUGE difference it made...these plants are TOWERING over the others...you'll see what I mean...$5 for those smart pots..??? Thats a screamin' fuckin deal brotha...what is the site again..?? About the training and techniques i was talkin' about....no i haven't personally tried anything actually...just plain old pot plants..i do trim the lowest branches off all of them and I also take about 2-4 fan leaves per week depending on growth...I will say that I do REALLY REALLY wanna figure out the right way to Top and LST and put both methods into practice in my future grows...i have just seen TONS of peeps on here have GREAT SUCCESS using both techniques....you should think hard and make a decision soon...cause they are at the PERFECT age by the looks of things to start LSTing and shit...i say research it more and dive in...lol...:peace:

I recommend both topping and some low stress training.....since most of this is new to you I would try different techniques on some and leave some to grow normal so you can see how much of a difference it really makes......it is a good idea start topping at a young age...after the 4rth 5th internode ....topping earlier will make your plants really bushy if done right................and as far as transplanting I start in small starter pots then into party cups then into 1 gallon pots then into either a 2.5 gallon pot if I am vegging longer or the final transplant into 5-7 gallon pot a week before I put them into flower......I transplant only when the plants look like they are starting to become root bound that way it is far easier to transplant and less stressful on the plants....

hell yeah man, LST is the way to go. Id also do both, topping and some tying down. My last bush had 49 tops on it. DO some homework on it and itll make you a happier farmer ;)

Your setup looks great man! +rep!

Here is the site - http://www.smartpots.com/buy-products - I am going to be doing a bunch of research tonight :) topping seems somewhat easy to do for the most part and I think I understand that, just not sure as to WHEN I should top them. The LST is what I really need to read about. I understand the process just wouldn't feel comfortable doing it yet because there is so many un-knowns to me. I can't decide if I want to finish in 3gal or 5gal pots yet, maybe once I see these pictures you speak of it will help make my mind up!

This may be way too much to ask of you, BUT is there anyway you could give me a semi good description of how I should go about this? I know that you are extremely knowledgable and would greatly appreciate it.. PM or on here for others to see whatever you would do, if not it is TOTALLY ok!

Thank you so much letitgrow!

ADVICE OR TOUGHTS: (please and if you could :) )

- I am having a hell of a problem that is REALLY starting to annoy the crap out of me! This morning at 6:45am I watered the girls with a spoon and room temp RO water and when I came home from work at 6:30pm and checked on the plants the soil is almost totally dry!! Right now I am waiting on HTGsupply to send me a warranty bulb, long story there, I have them under a two foot hood with two 2' 6500k t5 lights. I am trying to get the girls as close as possible to the lights and have a fan blowing inline with the hood (this is just a 6" clip on fan set to low. Growbright brand) right over the plants to push the heat away from them. This seems to dry the soil out very quickly! I feel like I have to water daily which scares me to crap I am over watering! I suppose when I get my bulb on the 9th I can actually run my setup so this won't be a problem but what should I do in the mean time? Thank you guys for the help and tips and I apologize for all the questions!

Looking good....that 1 looks thirsty.... here is a link to get a general idea on topping..... https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/151706-uncle-bens-topping-technique-get.html

as far as your seedlings drying out too fast maybe you have too much air on them or your humidity is too low or both....try to put them under a dome for a while.....should keep the soil wet longer and humidity will be ideal for seedlings.....
That one had a shell on it until tonight when I picked it off her. Do you think she will recover from that? Sh*t I have a germinating box with dome and heat mat just sitting here lol. I just wasn't sure if that was overkill at this point.. The humidity hovers between 27% - 37% All I do for that right now is keep a warm wet towel in there at all times. It spikes up at first and then slowly drops until I wet it again. Thank you for your advice.

Should be fine.....and for sure you should use that propagation tray and dome asap...your rh is too low that combined with air circulation will cause your soil to dry out too fast.....you probably don't need the heat mat...........just keep them under the dome until you are going to transplant in a couple weeks....just open the vents more and more everyday.......

OK I am going to do this tonight then. With the dome on there can I just lay the Hood on top of it? It is a very light Hood..or keep it above the Hood a little? Thank you SO much for your help.
