Oh man, I missed seeing that picture earlier - that's cool though. I love mutant plants. lol

Be sure you let me know what the smoke is like from it! I'll bet she'll grow out of it eventually and start looking more normal. Is her growth rate about like the others now that she's going?
She's growing at the same rate as the others. I have her under a 54w T5 until I can rearrange some plants or get some more lights.

great update, the plants tops seem to be growing up now. and as for your humidity 35 is fine
Yea, the tops are taking off on the ones that I did right lol. It's all good though, I'm learning as I go.

looking good skunk green and healthy!
Sweet SD, keep it up homie!!
Thanks guys, almost time for the flip.

Its a little baby!
Yupp, they're my babies. My dog's jealous of my grow room because she's not allowed in it. She'll get over it.

Sorry for the laziness this weekend, had to take a little time off from everything and recharge the batteries.

Just a quick update:

I've grouped all of the plants under the CFL's. I'm trying to figure out a way to get the T5 under there too.

The 2 gallon'ers are 35 days from pushing thru the soil, 1 gallon'ers are 28 days.

directed @ Skunk. you should pull the cfls down to the plant and put the T5 up on top. cfls should be nice and close to plants cause they don't get very hot at all and they will penetrate better. then the t5 can sorta be a booster of a veg growth from above the the cfls work out the sides and the bottoms.

The closer the better no doubt about that! Well until your burning something lol...

well a good 4-6 inches away with cfls is perfect. won't burn anything. the sides would get morelight and the top would have the big ashh T5. it would just start bushing out.
I keep them closer than that:bigjoint:

Btw +REP for the family photo skunk dunks, I see you have 2 rep bars now:)

ya i dont run cfls but i heard u can get them up to 1 inch away without burnin them
You can! Shit I would rather burn the leaf a little then have it to far away, thats the trick to growing with cfl's. 2-3" for me seems to be right on the money! You have to move them around quite often if your using them as top lights though..

I just noticed my rep bar too, thanks to all who think I've contributed something to the community.

I've decided to finish out this veg the way my setup is since I'm flipping in less than a week. Then I'll have time to really fix my veg room.

Speaking of nice little families, Smelly, SD, and Reggae have all been so super kind to me if anyone wants to give them some rep for me since I can't!
Ya'll have been keeping my grow on track and I appreciate everything. Wish there was a way we could swap clones...

I've seen alot of CFL bashing but like Smelly said, they DO WORK. The only issues I've had with them were due to my ignorance but once I figured out my problems, my plants have been just fine.

Almost time for the flip...

well in my case i already have a 400w hps, so i would assume adding cfls can do nothing but help, no matter how poorly placed lol.

the flip is soon....

Man.... I'm starting to think I should experiment with CFL's now.....
You definitely should. They're cheap and you can get them literally anywhere. There are a few things you need to know about them, but once you get the basics, it's easy peasy.

Yea, they're price makes them great for quick supplement lighting. Now that I'm nearly thru my first veg cycle, I'm thinking of ways to really maximize the CFL's potential. I'm already geeked about the next crop. And yes, the countdown is upon us

Glad to have you Guerrilla!! I just came from your grow and it's looking great. I'm sub'd over there too. Ya'll will be the first to know when the good stuff gets going.
