I agree with LB, both will produce plenty, it just depends on what your space is limited to.

Scrog is done with lower plant number mainly by growers to max out watt per gram potential.

Sog is usually implemented on a larger scale.

although sog also means just letting you plant grow with minimal training.
it also sometimes implies little to no veg.

I find SOG to be a rather general term and prefer to break it down as High Density sog, and the latter.

Ok i have 10 haze clones in 6' by 6' by 10' space with a 600 watt hps for flowering.

IMO with only ten plants SCROG is the only way your gonna come close.

get realistic man. first off, each strain only has so much potential yield.
secondly, your growing indoors, not outdoors. third, you would need to scrog each plant under it's own light, and even then I don't think you would do it.

yep -- agree with others. try a few plants and gain experience. if you tweak your system and strain you may see 3oz/plant indoors ... depending. but not on your first (maybe not on your 30th) grow.

if he was going outdoors, maybe! 3 oz would be easy

but lets get real. i agree with orecal and the rest. and to add ill say if this is your first time, you should be worried if you can make to harvest before you worry about how much of a yield there is. Dont count your eggs before they hatch or some shit they say?

yo i need help i have a 3 plant grow in my basement will it be too stinky if its in a room in the basement and my parents never go down stairs. i mean will it find its way up stairs. im not really in a hurry cuz i can move em when it gets bad but just wounderin so i could find out before it comes to that thanks ny1 who wants to help peace yall

the answer to your question is yes - they will stink up the whole house and your parents will definitely find out.

here is something you may not know - you are putting your parent's and their belongings (including their HOUSE) at risk for growing. you really should either get their permission, wait to grow until you are risking your own house, or grow outdoors (off your property).

the only thing i see as unfair is the fact that you are using excess electricity without permission from them. and also, if the boys in blue ever did show up, your parents would get the rap.

as for the 2 sog is great if oyu want a constant supply depending on the cycle oyu set up -- a 1/2 a oz - 1 oz every 2 weeks is easy to set up.

I myself have set up sog to create a oz every 3 weeks regularly because i only grow for myself and that is what i need.

Scrog is great if you want a large amount of smoke all at once. i think if oyu scrogged 4 plants in that set up you could pull off 3 oz a plant. you would have to veg em longer and maybee train them a bit while in veg.



the good thing about scrog compared to sog -- if oyu get busted -- sog counts clones and its all about setting clones on a scheduel to go in for hte every few week cycle.

Scrog -- you have alot less plants.

(my sog i had 2 moms 8 clones taken every 2 weeks, after 2 weeks the 4 best clones go under the veg light for another 2 weeks to get bulk 2 weeks after that the 2 best into into flower. and repeat I cant have more hten that and i get rid of the week plants this way and makes sure i have a plant to veg if i screw up (and i do alot).
