Day 29:
Got my new 400w lights yesterday. After 24 hours of dark, put all the plants on 12/12. Half are under MH, half under HPS. Going to have to find somthing to raise up the 8 that are under the HPS. Also added two new 20A lines to my electric for the plants. I'm happy now that I spent the time and money on my airflow that I did, as with the two 400w lights, the room temp has only increased by four degrees.

LMAO It doesn't suprise me. Hey I got some Superthrive today, also some MG Bloom Booster. Yeah not the best - but all I could find on short notice, until I can order some good ones on-line. Oh and built an air scrubber today - total cost, $25. Might have been a bit more, if we hadn't had some of the stuff laying around. Seems to be workin well though, half hour after plugging it in the smell was decreased by 75%! I'll take some pics of it tomorrow (today) when I'm not so tired.

lol I looked all over town - most stores are about done with the garden stuff for the year, so not much to choose from.

I'm anxious for you to get your lights too, man they are still growing taller, but the real difference is in how they are bushing out. A noticable difference for sure.

Speaking of which - I'm glad I erred on the "too short" side - a few of my smaller babies are correctly FIMmed, but most are just topped. Oh well - they all have at least two heads! Who knows, if they grow fast enough, maybe I'll top the ones that didn't take the FIM again.

I used it to start my seedlings out, both seedling and root seemed to grow through it really easily. I don't know about past that though - I transplanted into Scott's Potting Soil, from Home Depot. I'll be posting new pics tomorrow evening when they wake up - thanks for stopping by!:peace:

Here are a couple pics of our homemade air scrubber. We used part of a roll of mesh wire we had left over, originally 5 bucks from Lowes, a 6" end cap from Home Depot for 4 dollars, an old fan from an electric heater, a two dollar extension cord for the fan cord, and two packs of carbon filters from Wal-Mart, 10 dollars each. Rolled the wire into a six inch round tube - inserted end cap, secured with zip ties. Trimmed tube to length of filter sock. Inserted fan in other end, secured with bread ties. Sewed all eight filters (quarter inch seam)(they come four in a pack) into a "sock" - slipped it over the endcap and up the tube. Secured on each end with zip ties. Hung in room. 90% of the smell is gone - and I cannot smell anything in my hallway now but my air fresheners.
