Sediment buildup.

Sweet. I am always carping about my problems. Is there anything you have going on worth sharing? I would love to see some pix some time. We have been talking for almost 8 months. I feel like we are phantom Brothers!

I am building a pvc stand with the joints that i bought at the hydro shop. The new tables will be sitting on them. I am not the handiest of builders. But i hope to have them done in the next few days. I think i will make them at a slight incline to help drainage. I shimmed the other tables. This will be custom made.

Shit, this thread has been going a while hasn't it? I don't really have anything special going on, nothing worth posting pics for at least. Good idea buiding the incline into the table, instead of doing it as an after thought. How's things looking in veg with the t-5's versus the HID's?

Man oh man. Those girls look the best that i have ever seen them. I would like to think that i have the obvious basics down. The room is cooler and everything is vibrant and growing very quickly. Frankly i am surprised at how well they look. I thought there would be a noticeable difference in size and growth rate. I am not seeing any negative results. I wish i would have done it before. Just the $ amount alone, saving on two Hid lamps being off is reward enough. I just switched out a dual Lumitec ballast for two single's. That will save some scratch also. I wish i would have bought them in the first place. I did switch to all blue bulbs. Upon asking around i found that either way works well,(two blue two red), But that all blue will give you less distance between nodes. I sure like the sound of that. So we will see.

I finally got that stand built for the 4x4's. It worked out rather sweet, incline and all. I must say that the parts that you buy from the hydro store are cheesy. Even after being screwed the stand was not very stable when moved. Well let me tell you, duct tape is a farmers best friend. After securing the joints and any movable parts with it, there is no problem now! Very stable. I got the lights hung also. Next step is hosing up and mounting another Blue Lab Guardian. After that fill her up and away we go!!!!

I wonder what the longest running thread is in here? LOL

That is what I run in the t-5's, all blue bulbs. Definitely better node growth, they just stack up on each other. Makes for better buds later. Yeah most parts and accessories you get in hydro shops you can find in Lowes and Home Depot for cheaper. If you can't duct it...

Question, Have you ever had a plant turn Hermaphrodite? How quickly does it happen? You will see balls, right? Upon picking 7 the other day, which were what was left from when i had that problem with my meter 2 months ago. I think they got over juiced. I found what may or may not be 2 of the tiniest seed looking things. They were not in the same plant. I saw absolutely no sings of male what so ever. I inspected them very heavily. When looking at the tricoms they seemed fine. resin filled and turning amber. Gave me a rush.

Not sure how fast a plant can turn hermie, that's probably one of those things where genetics and the cause, determine how fast/slow it happens. If it's genetics or a problem that occured early on, you usually will see balls. If it happens later into flowering you usually see little yellow leaves coming out of the bud, commonly refered to as "naners". If you see seeds just pick them out when you're trimming.

Well cool. Just pick em out? I could do that. But luckily i have not had to. I was more worried about my other crops that are at different stags of 12/12. So far no worries. i never want to have that kind of problem! The smell seems to be a little better than before. I am not smelling "hay". But i am not smelling that strong smell either. I am miffed. I let this dry for 5 days. Today i put it in a big tupper ware pitcher that i use with the lid off. I will let it go overnight then start keeping it closed except for 1/2 hr a day.

No hay smell. But no good skunk either. I am going to phase out this one strain and stick to the bubble gum. I have a new strain called God Bud, that won a shit load of awards in 07. I am going to cultivate those two strain from now on. The Bubble gum that is ready right now is awesome. Perfect smell. Sticky as hell and ripe for the picking. I will keep you posted.

It was the one that had the hay smell. I just cut a few b/g. God what a difference. I am in awe. The b/g never had a bad smell. This is incredible. I was high just handling it. Unreal.

Dude, this is unreal. The Bubble Gum i took the other day is the most intense i have seen in many a year. Just trimming it got me so high it was funny. My hands were sticking together. 4 small plants yielded 8 of the sweetest tasting and smelling, stickiest z's. DAMN!

Have you ever used any Bud Blaster products? This shit is used the first two weeks of transition, then the last two weeks of flower. I think it really made a difference. Powdered form, 1-2 teaspoon per 5 gallons. I used 1 per 5. I think it made a BIG difference. Check it out.

What do you mean . . stuff like powdered koolbloom, bud blood, top shooter? Those kind of products? I've tried powder koolbloom in the past, but I really have no idea if it made a difference.

I checked out supernatural's website, they don't want to tell you anything that is in the bud blaster. Just something about the best B1 and three different "super phosphates" i.e. marketing B.S. It looks like it's mostly just monopotassium phosphate. Which is the same thing as powder koolbloom, monsterbloom, big bloom and several others that I can't think of right now. If you like it and if it's cheaper to use then another companies product, go for it. They more I read and research, the more I realize that all these nute companies pretty much just copy each other, then try to out-market each other with snake-oil and silver bullets.

Yeah, you sure got a point there. The competition is fierce. Same shit, different way of getting there. But i can tell you because i use kool bloom, that this stuff really made a difference. Not just once either. I think i will stop using Kool bloom on a res and see the difference. I will keep you posted. This bubble gum just keeps amazing me now that i have it down. The God Bud i have going is almost ready. It seems to be equally impressive. The proof is in the smoke. But sticky? You bet. Pungent? Damn skippy straight it is. Lots of resin glands? A TON. So cross your fingers. I know i am!
