i dont have much room... but my plan is to go 12/12 as soon as i can.. so they dont get too big and also so i can get rid of the males.... last time all the males showed sex first...

i was also thinking maybe just do them all soil except for a few... if i use soil i can probably get away with plastic cups until they sex... then put them in some 2 gal pots i have....

I dont know yet ... ill know by next week.

:joint: Day 25 : shes growing fast . she looks great , the lower leaves are drying or dying but other than that shes fine i did notice that the fan spent a few hours off and when i checked the temps were at 91 but the res was at 78 but that was this morning ...now:

RM temp : 86
watertemp : 72
humidity : 30 %
pH : 6.0

If you can tell in the pics ..shes on her 9 finger leaves... she looks short .. the description says like 80 % sativa but i cant tell.. if you ask me shes pulling more towards indica... each node is so evenly seperated.. i guess thats a good thing... no node is more than 1/2 inch apart...side branches have 3 finger leaves on em...:joint:

Thursday at midnight i placed venenosa in a dark room to get 30 hrs of darkness before 12/12... my side branches were already about 3 - 3.5 inches long but i didnt cut them till they stretched a little in the dark...I took about 6 clones which i figured was about 30-40% of the plant..6 is enough to start with..

Well here are some pics of her at 33 days old. right before the dark period...

once again im sorry my pics suck , but its a pc camera.....PEACE....kiss-ass

:blsmoke:Thanx Fellas.. earlier i noticed she seemed a little shocked...but as the day passed.. she looks better now i guess i took too many clones.LOL.oops.
The cuttings were wilted this morning so i tightened up the lid on the dome now they seem a little better.... I guess this is all normal when cloning...

Rm Temp : 84
Water temp :75
humidity : 38 %
pH : 6.0

I need some more Co2...:joint:

I have completed week 1 of flower and shes a beauty.. I saw her first signs of sex on thursday which was day 5, i guess the 30 hrs of darkness helped out...
ever since day 5 she shows more and more pistils.. right now she has pistils at each node from about half way up, but only on the main stalk... not on the side branches......she has one fan leaf that looks i think wilted... it turned to the side... but it still green and normal looking...

I will probably up the strength in nutes tomorrow ... right now shes on the transition phase of GH nutes..

The 12 bagseed that have survived look very nice.. id say about 3 of them are not meeting my expectations but they only vegged for about 2 weeks..
They are approx 3 weeks old today 1 week of 12/12 and still no sign of sex... Yesterday i thought maybe i should start feeding some bloom nutes ... i think i shocked 1/2 of them they kinda drooped down and looked sad....
i sprayed the foliage with some very diluted super thrive... and today some have gotten better some are the same and one looks worse.... tomorrow when lights come on if they dont look any better ill flush.... they should pull through tho... im not too worried...

i promise ill post some pics tonight or tomorrow...my cam sucks so its not worth it to take crappy pics of tiny pistils...:blsmoke:
Rm temp: 84
water temp :76
pH : 6.0
humidity : 40 %

I need some Co2 ... Ill get it today definitely...bongsmilie

I forgot to post about the clones..:eyesmoke:.. its been a pain in the ass.kiss-ass.. i think mostly because my temps are usually around 85 in the day and 78 at night... I took 6 cuttings and 2 have already rotted....not rooted ...rotted... this sucks... i hope the others pull through...

For the past 10 days venenosa has been fed transition nutes, Today i replaced solution with full strength flowering nutes.
General Hydroponics : 1 part floragro, 2 parts flora micro and 3 parts florabloom..

I want to add an additive for a bigger yield... any suggestions?

Im thinking something for more buds PLUS some carb loading...is that gonna over do it...? I doubt it will...

Observation: I always put a black garbage bag around the res to keep extra light out... keep in mind that when i first transplanted shewas like 3 inches tall then after that i put some more hydroton on top to keep stem sturdy, well now theres roots growing out of the stem...wtf...if you just remove one layer of hydroton you can see all these roots coming out the stem... Im guessing this is normal...

Plant height : approx 13 inches from top of medium
Rm temp : 85
water temp : this morning 78 ....now 68..
pH : 5.5
Humidity : 42 %

BagSeed : I was trying to sex my bagseed while there were still in the dixie cups , but im too knew at this i m pretty sure they went root bound.. So i went bought some more soil and vermiculite started transplanting and ran out , but this morning to my surprise they started showing there sex....

Recall : I started with 19/19 germ rate.... lost one immediately 18 left then slowly started losing more... dropped a couple ..some got sick..i was left with 12..... I told my wife ... theres gonna be at least 6 females there .... i was right ... 6 boys , 6 girls not bad..... I need totransplant 2 more today...

Anyway here are some pics.... theres a couple of pics where you can see pistils.... sorry about the quality ... I promise before harvest ill get a good digital cam.....PEACE.....bongsmilie

After i changed her nutes yesterday ,shes really blooming now , she got pistils everywhere....

today i cut some of the lower branches left from cutting clones...she looks really neat today...

Update : rm temp : 82 day 78 at night
water temp : 75
pH :5.5
Humidity : 42 %

Ive been buying strictly R/O water lately...I noticed the ph is 6.0 before adding nutes... then it drops to like 5.0 maybe lower... a little ph up and problem solved...bongsmilie

prediction:
30+ days vegg... more like 35.... how many oz do guys think i can pull off...

Im shooting for a QP .... very doable lets wait and see.

Have you still been topping the res.?

If yes, and you have no ppm meter, thats a no no.

The best thing that you can do is, get small pumps and tube it up to the pot, and the water could go down to a gallon, but you know everything will be safe.

If you keep topping you have no clue of TDS. At times the plant may be drinking nutes but not water. SO when they have had they're fill with the tank, dump and refill.

I don't have a TDS meter, so thats what I do. I see the PH is at 5.5 thats good. I know PH makes a lot of difference too. Honestly for a few degrees difference, I wouldn't even bother droppin the bottles. Let it ride out. She looks good.

What do you think of the yeast and sugar CO2 method. And what is the formula you follow? I may have to get it going myself, just to feel comfortable with my high temps. But we both have the same temps and everything looks just fine.

i see what u mean ... but its been working fine ... she hasnt burned all grow(knock on wood) .... my plan was that in case of emergency i would go to the hydroshop and buy a ppm meter i saw for 40 bucks... Im defenitley gonna get it soon anyways.... but it might have to wait till next month...

This grow i havnt noticed any grow spurts, but on my first grow i noticed once i started using co2 it would grow in spurts ....one day to another madd flowers...
and you know what i think it did do something to this plant cause last night everything was normal and this morning she has pistils everywhere ... and i just started using it yesterday.....

My formula is just like i make kool aid ....guessing.....LOL.... actually i read somewhere to use equal parts... i take a 2 liter bottle fill it half way(puncture a little hole on the bottle cap) with water ad about 4-5 spoons of sugar and a little package of yeast its a small 2x2 packet... shake well ... it wont activate right away it takes a few minutes.... once activated give it a nice shake every time you see NO bubbles...

WARNING : First time i did it i put my finger over the whole shook it hard as hell.... it was activated and made crazy pressure... i thought the bottle was gonna explode, so i let go of the hole and that shit sprayed all over me....YUUUUUUUUCK.......

about the temps .... i see a lot of growers with 85-90 and get good yields.....my temps only reach 90 if i close the door... and i hardly ever close the door.... it stays between 78 and 86 .....:blsmoke:
