lol, yup ... lot's of 'activity' in this area, but we got into the right zoning to begin with to avoid issues we are seeing now. we are right behind the wrecking yard. :)


DirtPoor - a lot of states are working out agreements with the DEA to stop Medical Marijuana raids ...... but it still doesn't stop them from doing raids, especially when you push it in their face (eg: Chris Barkowitz). I even heard of random searches at the borders of some MMJ states (New Mexico I believe??) to catch transporters. As time goes on and more states enact MMJ rules/laws, there will be a bigger and bigger push to reform the laws, but until the Federal laws are ammended, we are ALL in constant fear of the DEA. even more so because those operating dispensaries and the associated grows are almost guaranteed to be breaking the federal 99 plant count limit. this is one area where caregivers are golden as they will never reach that tipping point.

I see people talking about this 99 plant limit all the time. It doesn't exist. If it does exist, please show me where as I haven't been able to find it.
I had heard that 100 plants or more would trigger mandatory minimum sentencing, but I don't even see that in the federal penalties.

SoCo, you are correct ... I miss-worded it. the 99 plant count is a trigger point (judge can't just sentence them to a lesser term, even though the person may have all the legitamacy in the world)

I have to say that the life out there doesn't sound nearly as glamorous as it's depicted, the Feds are the ones that worry me and I know if I was in the business I would be under constant stress (then I burn-medicate (: ) but I guess you do have to fight for what you believe, and marijuana does help people! When the federal laws change, we will all breath a sigh of relief...

P.S. I think one of the very last states to take hold to any sort of legalization will be GA...

Thanks for the offering guys will certainly take you up on it soon, my plate is super full right now, rebuilding my grow, building a fence, setting up a vegetable garden, building a veg room.
I completely agree that we are in a great position here, laws may not be perfect but at least there is enough of us growing that it takes a lot to be flying a red flag. I am rebuilding as I said, and i am going to make it a point to document everything, so that even in my small scale environment i can prove that i am great at what i do, and when there is a chance for this to be big money or a career i will have a foot up on the competition, minus of course you guys!

It is not all about growin, the boon will be much bigger than we think. As a result of what I have done on this site I have been asked by a nute company to be the grow support on their website and they have given me the whole state of CO to represent their product here (nice commission too) and because of my understanding with lights (growing a plant here with only 97 watts of light) I have been asked to test a new light being designed & built (can't give details on it yet, so please don't ask) and it comes with a nice bonus and stock options. So yeah get your grow on, prove your skills and doors do open :hump:

I will say this ... probably only this once on any forum or to anyone because it is valuable knowledge (but these posts get lost and buried within a couple weeks ...) ..... get your indoor grow DOWN PAT .... especially concerning a Sealed GrowRoom Environment. Once legislation passes to legalize hemp production and thousands of acres are planted, it's the end of the outdoor grower. period. 'nough said
 
Wow possibilities i really never considered! That is really amazing that you have hooked up with companies. I never really considered that, maybe my not talk to anybody about anything way of life to this point wasn't so much the right way to go. I figured the less that was known about me and how i do things the better, hell i am using a system that has not been seen before, have never really let anyone in on it, told a few people, but have never actually taught anyone my ways, maybe this time i will really let the cat out of the bag, still can't decide, maybe my way in this is to market my hydro system to others. But i guess just cause its on here doesn't mean that i have really let the cat out of the bag.
Anyhow, i would love to hear about the nute company you work for, always looking at new products, or ones i have not tried before.
And eyecandi thank you for that advice, it will not be lost on me, i was considering sealing things up with the rebuild, now i am almost positive that i will,
So if anyone has a portable air conditioner i am in the market now!
 
Trueno- I thought the same way until last year and being in the muck of things for a bit. After seeing and digging in more, the more you realize the direction things are going and what we need to start thinking about and doing. The ball is already rolling and there is no turning back at this point - the feds know this as well, game almost over. There are soooooo many growers out there in the world and we are but a fly in the scheme of things ..... but legal flies ;) So we have opportunities others don't and companies also see where things are going and are now willing to talk about cannabis and let growers do research and 'testimonials' with their products. the company I'm testing for is specifically marketing their product to marijuana growing (unheard of just a few years ago)..... several of my pics on their site, lol.

like any invention, be careful of others taking your ideas and running with them. I've already been burned on that one. Just be careful, do a little research into how to launch the product or join forces with another company that has funds (just make sure they sign a non-disclosure agreement before talking to them in depth - this way if they stab you in the back you can at least sue the crap out of em). but seriously, go for it. it's time to start thinking about how to make the future work for you ;)

freakin nute PH's itself, I've tested it several ways, different waters and even add silica (which has a ph of 10) it is a tea bag you soak in water and it is organic combined with chems has all 16 elements, thus far I have been very impressed

Hemp farming sounds like a good market to get into when it finally goes through, lots of money to be made and even more trees preserved when the things are produced from hemp :)

it will revolutionise the world again. 1 acre plot of trees takes 25yrs to mature and harvest. same plot can harvest hemp 4x per year with more biomass produced. tree fiber avg length = 3/4" .... avg hemp fiber length = 12"+, the strength in materials gained with less weight is a big boon to the building industry (don't need 3/4" pressboard when you can use a 1/2" or less with greater strength). fuel .... oils .... clothing ... so many things, over 50,000 uses documented. if you haven't read Jack Herer's book, hit my link in the sig for a good free read

This will be the best thing since sliced bread haha, and thanks for the link on that book I have been wanting to read that for the longest.
 
Thanks for that RM, its good to see things like that happening, only if i had a spare million laying around to start a "shovel and pick" company i just might. Hell i might even invest if my investment this year wasn't spent on rebuilding the room.
 
not at all!!! in CO it is MUCH more limited to new entries.some licensing locked out until summer at least, caregivers are OK though. but be aware the market here is flooded, so not much $$ to be made like before. I'd keep an eye on the newer states as well. lots of opportunity in my opinion. find a niche
