Severe Mite Infestation in Late Flower - Should I Chop Early? (PICS)

I'm about 55 days into Flower, and I have a really bad mite infestation. I've tried everything I can think of to get rid of them but nothing is working and I dont want to spray anything chemical so close to harvest. Ideally I would have waited another 2 weeks or so, but the infestation is getting out of hand. They're starting to make webs on my buds...

I want to chop them so I can bomb my grow room, but I'm afraid it's way too early. This is my first grow and I'm really lost, please help! Should I just start flushing now and harvest in a few days? Will the smoke be worthless?

I don't have anything to check the trichomes with...

well if there infested that bad them borg will eat your harvest away i would chop chop chop your close real close

i wouls say start to flush it now and wait for about a week or 2 at the most if things dont get out of hand and then u should be good

The way neem oil works is not like a poison, Need Oil contains natural proteins that over time causes any bug eating it to forget it's basic instincts in which they starve, so neem oil won't give you immediate results which is why with neem oil you wanna start using it at day 1.

Do you want an alternative?

If I was you I would use a pesticide and when it came time to cure my buds I would water cure them, if you haven't heard of water curing it is the process of allowing osmosis to draw the chemicals and unwanted salt from the bud; sp the chemicals you would spray on them now would get sucked up in the water instead of drying on the buds is it would during conventional curing.

Im planning on water curing part of my harvest, just to see the difference! Thanks for telling me

I just had the same problem hit them with mighty wash on the buds and azumax on the leaves. Dont worry too much about spider mites i get them every grow always near the last few weeks but definately take care of them. I actually used azumax couple weeks ago on all my crop and my buds still tasted great and had no complaints.

Ok, everyone has their cure..... However, the only thing that kills on contact, and is TOTALLY SAFE to use up to 10 days before harvest..... Its called Liquid Ladybug.... Stuff Rocks!

anyways, your plants didn't seem to be far from finishing... so i don't think the early chopping hurt you much

Use neem oil right from day one to control bugs and you won't have any insects late in harvest.

You can probably drink Mighty Wash if you had it. It's just electrically charged water that delivers a shock strong enough to kill the mites, but not harm the plant.
