shower cubicle grow

hello all. i have been browsing, learning and posting on this forum for a couple of weeks. time to introduce myself and my little green friends i feel. i am from the uk, and i am growing in an unused shower located in a bathroom extension downstairs in the house.
i have grown in the same enviroment before under a hps light and will add pics of that grow soon (when someone tells me how!). anyways, due to certain financial difficulties (and legal threats from my gas and electrical company), this grow is going to be kept to a cheap, but still effective overhead.
unfortunately, i have no "premium" seeds left and due to me leaving this house in june, i dont feel i have sufficient time to really appreciate spending what little money i have on MORE seeds...

my setup is as follows;

* ROOM DIMENSIONS: 2.5' width, 2.5' length, 7' height shower cubicle with black/white plastic shower curtain. room is about 10'w x 8'l x 7' h. black/white plastic covering window. light not adjustable, although i creatively stack boxed shit until the plants are at the right height..
* LIGHTING: For veg, i have a 125w eco-light with 6400 kelvins. For flowering, i (hopefully) have a 400w hps.
* GROWING MEDIUM & CONTAINER: Soil, bought from Asda (Wallmart subsidary) containing vermiculite and other things. mixed with 25% perlite. plants start in 5" pots until i feel ready to move them to what i think are 3gal square pots. (ill post pics soon)
* NUTRIENTS: i will be using Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow A&B throughout the vegging of my plants (starting tomorrow on the largest hopefully) and will be choosing an appropriate flowering nute as i go. maybe chosen with suggestions?
* STRAIN: fackin bagseed. and two vietnamese/thai stick seeds.
* EXTRA: i have a 8"? fan blowing on them 24/7, a 18/6 light scale, and a heater which keeps the temp at about 70 degrees.

I know ive posted alot of stuff here, and i dont blame you all for not reading it, but any comments and/or advice will be warmly recieved. i am trying to stick to a low expenditure by finding and using sources and deals. any support greatly appreciated. rar!

***PICTURES WILL BE UPLOADED AS SOON AS SOMEONE COULD KINDLY EXPLAIN TO ME THE INS AND OUTS OF SUCH A TASK. ADIOS ***

any ideas whats up with the smaller one? some sort of deficiency... some of his leaves have gone all floppy and brownish. pretty bad looking. others are yellow at edges, like nute burn.

got some advnced nutrients sensi grow a&b today, should i try them on him? dont want to kill him off if he's not strong

are you over watering them? The tall one looks very streched as well! It really looks like a combo of over watering and lite case of nute burn to me!

overstretching is cus i had a hps when they first sprouted, but then i had no lights for a couple of weeks. kept them on my windowsill and in the bathroom. since getting the new cfl, theyve both stopped stretching. nevermind..
some of the leaves have gone crispy and really dry.. sue thats nute burn? only gave him water for the last week or so..

Nice thing about setting up in a bathroom humidity is never a problem. Used my garden tub and humidity is at 50 maybe creeps up to 60. Nice job there morph!

Hey im a newbie to the growing world and actully just started a few weeks ago and i need to ask alot of questions lol. First the box i have chosen for my plants is a dresser and i took all the wood out of it and put tin foil around the hole thing and then i painted all my walls white. My room i have the dresser in is 7 feet by 8 feet by 8 1/2 feet and we have all our thermometers and all the plant food and we got our lights online we have 2 light one is 600w hps with ballast and the other light we have is 400w hps with ballast and spent close to 550 bux for the 2 lights and we got our seeds online the strain is called super skunk#1 so were hoping they grow well and give alot of bud and they give you 10 free seeds if you pay over 60 bux and so we did and now we are thinking were gunna grow 20 plants with the lights we have that should defiitly be good for the plants the only thing we need help with is the ventilation. See the room we are growing in is in my basement and i dunno if its a good idea to grow in a basement or not i hope so we just have a square room completly bare there is nothin in it except my box for the plants. We were thinking of buying 2 huge floor fans.there is a space like where a door would go. Were thinking of putting a huge fan at the bottom blowing into the room and putting another huge fan about 2 feet up from the first fan so there will be a space between them the one fan will blow air in the room the other one at the top will blow the air into the room thats right beside my grow room and then i was gunna put a fan at the only window i have down here and turn that on and get that to blow clear air in in the room thats beside my grow room and im hoping that ventilation will be good enough. i all so have a fan that will be blowing on the plants constinitly. And actully our grow room is all white would that be a good enough reflector? instead of just putting tin foil around the hole room witch is best? if anyone can get back to me whenever that would be great thanks i need all the help i can get cause i spent alot of money into this project and i want it to work out well thanks.

the white paint is better than tinfoil.. the rest of the setup sounds good. may as well use the whole room rather than a little cupboard... look around in the other forum rooms for grow tips. gl

cheers for posting here guys, but im rather worried about the smallest of the two above. anyone got any tips or anything? maybe i should flush it.. if so how do i know when ive put enough water through? i think my tubs are 3 gals, take a look at pics if you can.. any tips would be really useful..
over watering symptoms unavoidable when flushing? ive only ever flushed during flowering before..

although being previously stretched, both the plants have much denser node activity since being under this light.. reckon theyll be okay for flowering in about a month? gonna move a 400w hps in for that job. any and all feedback much appreciated.. take it easy boys

well, i forgot about this journal and just remembered the other day. been through a whole grow since it started.

but now ill post some pics and stuff on my current grow. any and all suggestions/feedback welcome and appreciated.

right. i have a 400w hps. ive been using advanced nutes sensi grow a&b for veg, and biobizz bloom & topmax for flower (just started with topmax yesterday). theyre growing in soil mixed with c.30% perlite. these plants are about 2 months old. one of them has been lightly lsted, the other has been topped.
they have been on 12/12 for about a week and a half (since the 24th april). one of them (the shorter lst victim) is a fookin hermie. the other hasnt shown yet. seeds are thai.

i also have 5 lowryder #2s sprouted under a 125w ecolight cfl.

tell me what you think, and if it would be worth keepin the hermie. i know pics arent great, but i think you can just about make out the pistils/balls. i cant edit them becuase i dont even have paint.

cheers for all the help guys

pics are;
1. veg/sprout area
2. main room
3. hermie plant

Just wondering if those leaves where like that from start (all skinny, extreme sativa). Sometimes its a sign of stress, Which could explain the reason for hermes. Peace

well again i havent posted here in ages. rar. anyways, thought id do an update on my current movements...

since killing the hermie and sexing the five lowryder 2s, i was left with but 2 females. one lady lowryder #2, and one lady thai. both are budding up nicely, but the thai is taking a bloody long time.. the lowryders expected chop (according to the joint doctor) is on the 26th of june, but ill see how shes doing then..

here's a pic of the lr2 taken today, 5 1/2 weeks old. pictures are bad because my digi camera has broken, so thesere on my phone. despite what people say, she smells damn skunky and i can definately see the chrystals packing on wherever they can. i anticipate a decent smoke..

thanks for the kind words nuggz. shes bulking up since that picture now, with lots of the hairs turning brown.
my thai sativa is also getting fatter, but i fear she needs longer than the 3 1/2 weeks i have left to give her. bums and roundabouts.

hopefully ill get some more pics up soon..
