If the soil is too heavy/without enough aeration it probably would get anaerobic. I did a drainage test when making my soil recipe. If it puddles on top and stays like that for maybe 5-10 seconds approximately it’s not aerated enough, but also on the flip side you don’t want too much otherwise it won’t wick up in the pot.

Do you all inoculate the soil then when enriched just keep water in it and microbials process the bone meals, feather meals, fish meals, bat guanos ext ? Or do you use a 3 part and when it's mixed and ph'd just add it to the reservoir ? I hate being a perfectionist because it's hard making changes, hmmmm maybe it's OCD ? Head scratcher.......... Hahaha I may do my homework and try again later on and for now I'm just sizing my pots up from 3 to 5 gal and adding mycos and azos try and get my uptake to increase nitrogen and humic acids. This VPS nutrient line especially made for cannabis. After the head chemist and creator of the entire line discussed with me the entire product line I was hooked and he worked directly with popps in Michigan who has spent 30 plus years growing, they tweaked and tuned and tested and the end product is something for General Hydro and the many others to wanna throw rocks at, IT performs no joke. My first run was Humboldt Seed Company Blueberry Muffin and the buds were so thick in tan resin keif it was amazing, hell I could damn near dab a few times off a nuke before I rolled it up and smoked it. Ventena Plant Science-George Murray Chemist and sourcer of all the ingredients. Lookem up if your a grownerd like me, some great content where he opens up about making the entire line, how they did it, and each of the 6 products he combs through. They are transparent about everything.
