Here’s the CBD plant Cannafuel on day 62 from flip, or roughly 54 days in flower. It is recommended to harvest between 56-60 days. If it was a thc strain I’d have a better idea. Think I’m going to go with the first sign of amber to chop the cbd ones. Any suggestions?3D656878-2630-4974-88A3-310F996104E5.jpeg

Ok, will wait it out, lol (do I have to, I’m impatient).

I did try a sample the other day, dried it in the dehydrator then vaped it. It was a nice calming effect both in body and mind.

Here’s the rest of the lineup, dolato, cannaboom and the slow poke North thunderfuck, it’s finally putting on some weight

I slacked off the nutes a bit, only using half strength now, getting a little more yellowing and some nice purple shades on the dolato

The last cbd plant I grew, a 1:1, when I tried it early it gave me a great high, then when I tried it when it was completely mature like a thc strain it made me feel kinda gross and tired. That left me gun shy on this one.

Through the search I found an old thread where one person had the same experience.

Definitely got stoned with Cannaboom.

No stone with Cannafuel, feels more like a release of body tension and a little more relaxed

you alway see thing about when a plant is “ready”. This is mostly if not completely based on highest points in THC.
Wonder if it’s the same for CBD focused harvest?

It could very well be. There is a lot of literature saying cbd can be harvested earlier. THC strains need to wait so CBN increases to give a heavier, stonier effect, this doesn’t seem to be true for cbd, it as far as I know doesn’t need to convert to another compound for there to be an increased effect. It may be that cbd is just present and works as long as it doesn’t break down. Just a theory.

You sure can see the difference taking pictures every three days of your buds, never used to do that but now I can look back and see the progression. Otherwise it’s like time stands still.

Trimmed some lower buds off the Cannaboom and Cannafuel and the tests came back.

Cannaboom (same genetics as Ringo’s Gift) is 14% CBD, THC it just said <2%, so anywhere between 0 to 1.9% THC, worst case is 7:1 ratio to best case 24:1 from the Ringos Gift literature

Cannafuel tested at 10% CBD and 3% THC

The first sampling of Cannaboom I felt stoned, weird, but every time since feels like CBD

Got my new seeds in today, this has been a strain that checks all the medical boxes for me. It is Sincity’s Harlesin, talked with the breeder, it’s Harlequin x ACDC. I asked what phenos are present and what ratios.

Pheno #1 - All THC
Pheno #2 - All CBD
Pheno #3 - 3:2 CBD:THC
Pheno #4 - 2:1 CBD:THC

There is a 25% chance at each pheno so I am hoping for a little variety to show up. I’ll be able to check which pheno I have by week 5 or 6 and get it tested in town for free.

Bought it from Oregon Elite Seeds, got a free 10 pack of Green Lightening.
