Picture 067.jpgPicture 069.jpgyeah never too late to lighten up & have a little humor the stretch has slowed but not stopped im getting 13 hours of uninterupted darkness & no light leaks i figure at some point they'll either bud or grow into the ceiling another round of supercropping could be in order from what ive seen so far i strongly suspect this stuff from seed is one thing & from clone is totaly different the structure & the leaves on the clones look not at all like the seedlings which appear indica dominant fat 3 fingered leaves the clones appear to be sativa dominant hybrid there will definatly be a second grow because i strongly beleive the clones are gonna behave differentPicture 056.jpgPicture 084.jpgPicture 079.jpgPicture 076.jpg

It is amazing how fat & bushy they are from seed. And they do appear indy dominant when young. My mother plant looked nothing like the eventual cloned plants. The seed plant had very tight inter-nodal spacing. My clones did have some fat-assed fan leaves however (at first) but stretched with larger inter-node spacing..

Ohhh, yes, I remember too, somewhere here on RIU, advise by others that when you get a stretchy plant from seed, to take clones and grow it again as it will be shorter and bushier. I guess you and I have busted that myth.

That is some serious bondage with the wood skewers. Looks like she has a mind of her own though.

Picture 071.jpgPicture 073.jpgeven when young this is an unruly child with a mind of its own ive selected my 6 for my next grow hoping i can get a grip on things the plant on the extreme left in the rockwool blocks is the lone surviving#2 pheno lagging way behind the rest im gonna put it outdoors im thinking a fresh start from clones is gonna produce better results im hoping i can finish this off in 60 more days as these babies are getting more ready every day

Picture 074.jpgPicture 075.jpgPicture 076.jpgPicture 077.jpgtoday is feed day & theyre still teetering on the brink of producing buds sometime soon im gonna be faced with the decision of maybe pulling the plug on this & taking a loss [something ive never had to do] ive already made up my mind im coming back hydro this just isnt for me & im entertaining the idea of an og hybrid possibly purple og 18, kandy kush or r/p headband all i know is this has taken up a lot of time & no matter who is at fault i know i can start over hydro & turn this into a blue- ribbon grow so any way thats whats on my mind decision time is approaching fast here is todays pics today is 42 days since the flip & usualy by day 21 ive got little puffballs on my bud sites this isnt working:x:wall:

Man, I'm sorry it isn't turning for you. It may be worth running something else and throwing some of those clones in there.

hey redeye i think my clones are good to go whatever happened i think it might be faster to start over & im gonna boost the cfm in my main cooling fan to lower temps im getting other growers growing the r/p skywalker & getting good results ive goofed somewhere down the line but i think i can redeem it & maybe let these 4 finish outdoors so it wont be a total loss

hey , HH, nice log so far.

i am curious to know, so i got to ask, did you let the plant show sex before topping? and if not, did they at least show preflowers before you flipped them?

Picture 081.jpgPicture 080.jpgi topped early as all og's tend to stretch & these were feminized seeds they all showed female nodes at an early age as do their clones i seem to do my best with non feminized stuff i think i topped before they showed sex this is definatly different than what im used to even males or hermies should of shown by now here is a pic of one of my babies if i could identify what went haywire i would really be happy

I'm with you brother on starting over...this is supposed to be interesting, fun and rewarding and there's other strains out there that rock in that respect. It is disheartening when you think about all the time, patience and hard work you put into this...I could understand hanging in there and waiting too.

Hey HH, check out this thread. There is some good info on how to grow Og's. Doesn't explain your lack of budset, but still may help your second run. Cheers.

Herk, that is a real pickle. Have you considered you may be feeding a bit too much nitrogen?

Normally I am not a huge fan of drastic changes, but you have female plants, and the only thing besides a major light leak (like your light timer accidentally turning your full light on in the middle of your "dark" time) would be if you have an exhorbent amount of N which can focus plant growth on foliage instead of bloom (http://homeguides.sfgate.com/effects-much-nitrogen-plants-43755.html)

The plants look healthy, so I don't think you are giving them so much where it is damaging the plant, but it may be possible this is causing them to not flower properly. You may consider doing a full on flush and then using lower(not 0) N level in your feedings.
