I'm 24 days into flowering and all I've got is a sh*t load of white hairs in every possible spot and a little bit of bud growth..I've been using miracle grow bloom booster and molasses to try and help the blooms but the buds aren't seeming to develop that quick...any suggestions that'll help my baby bud bigger/quicker or suggestions as to what the problem may be, if any, is appreciated..THANX

First of all Miracle Grow and molasses. You need to get something that will really work (too late for this crop). Fox Farm Big Bud. Check out all of the Fox Farm products. They will help you out!

24 days hummm u still have a long time to go...and btw whats the pot size the plants are in????U should have 1 gallon of pot volume per foot of growth...u´re still at least 1 month left from harvest so its dammm late to repot but u might get a bud boom around week 6....

the pot is 10in...I'm not sure what that equates to in gallons but also my plant is about 2 1/2 feet tall......Okay, (for future grow i.e. ice,white widow, and crystal)i need a gallon per foot, i just odered fox farms big bud fert, i have a 1000w light switchable HPS/MH, what else affects the bud growth?? I want to make my next grow way better than this one and get a better yield since im using stronger strains... out of 100% of total bud my plant can make, what percentage do you think I'll get since my pot may be to small and my ferts arent the best??

I'm still a newbie so can somebody explain that to me? If you've got a load of white hairs on a plant, then isn't that a LOT of bud growth? I thought the white hairs were the buds or at least part of them anyway, but like I say I have a lot to learn.

yeah the white hairs eventually become the red ones you see in your bud...but all the green, resiny/crystaly substance that surrounds the hairs is whats not doing very well on my plant

Dude with a 1kw bulb u can expect a shit load of bud if:

U keep temps right (75 - 80)
U keep the RH right (60 - 80% during veg and 35 - 50 during flower)
U water correctly (large amounts of water with the right pH)
U provide fresh air & air circulation
U plant in large pots (the bigger the root mass the bigger the yield)

Now u say what about the nutes Omega?????And i go:
Dude u can have the best nutes the money can buy, if ur feeding the plant the wrong pH water the plant wont be able to "eat" the "fantastic" nutes u bought...check my sig for the chart that shows in what pH vales the nute lockup happens..Peace and Pot

from what my meter says its at 6.8 is that alright??....if my water is 6.8 doesnt that mean my soil is 6.8 or around it at least???..and also do you think 10in pots are okay??? I have some 11in pots if needed...obviously for next grow as it is to late to repot.

Hello i know this might sound like a bad idea Given the F.a.q sugar Build up is bad in your soil but i found for a slow grow is to add 1/2 cup of sugar to 1 gal of warm tap water let sit for 1 day in a room temp spot then water your plants the full gal only do this up to 3 times every 4 days then dont water for a good 3 days tell soil is dry then Leech Do these steps 4 or 5 times Its a nice yeld and Tasty buds

man dont listen to all these sold idiots. i use MG bloom too and my plants are starting to bud just fine. theyre just saying that cause they've been sold on overpriced fertilizer. flowering buds need more P with at least a 10-20-10 fert. for sufficiency. MG is actually 15-30-15. look on the box for these elements. can you show some pics so i can see what the plant looks like. if it a sativa strain it will take an extra few weeks on the flowering cycle. i have silver haze and its flowering cycle period is 9 weeks. what kind of lights. you may just have to be patient. oh and i havent used anything other than the MG bloom

sounds like your growing a sativa strain.which takes between 10 to 16 weeks to mature once reverted back to flower stage.while an indica takes between 6 and 9 weeks to flower

I just trying to figure out why you had to say the same thing twice and both had different growing times.

Yes I think that does sound like a really bad idea.

6.8 ph is ok but if you can I would try to aim for a little closer to 6.5.

Hes right, you still have a long time I mean 24 days into flowering is still basically the beginning and a lot of strains get a surge of growth during the last couple of weeks.

Here is someone that knows there stuff. Miracle Grow anything is garbage. You can get much better stuff for almost the same price. Shop around.

I would adjust your ph and switch to something made by Foxfarm asap. There products have always kept me very happy at harvest. Trust me you wont be disappointed.

ok i usually dont pipe in on any of these threads but i just have to now......I am on my 3rd crop of Sour Diesel 1000 watt HPS 7 girls at a time in a 6x8x6 tall room and the first two crops have yeilded just right at 17 zips..........this crop is looking to be just the same.... I LST them on two different occasions and put them into bud at roughly 6 to 7 weeks at about 18 inches tall.......they end up at roughly 3 foot tall...........after all that my point is i only use MG time released potting soil and once I swap the timer i hit them with the MG Bloom Booster.......4 teaspoons per 5 gallons never more never less through the whole process.....What am i gonna gain buy spending 50 dollars more on High priced Ferts? ill tell you Nothing.........its a weed my friends feed it a little bit and watch it grow...........................Peace

Agreed, thasts all i have ever used and i get just as good, dank ass nug. I have never been dissapointed with anything MG..so idk what your talking about MG being to hot for cannabis...its a weed just like countywarrior said :clap:. Get off your plants nuts (or pistils) and watch that shit growwwwww son :shock:.

water ph does not equal soil PH. You can get a more accurate water reading by testing the runoff after watering, but a soil tester is going to be ideal. Also, the hairs are pistols, and they come out of individual 'buds' (bracts). As it grows the buds will plump. If you have hairs, you have buds :) Far as pot size, many indoor growers go with 5-10 gallon buckets/pots. Really though the pot size is a limiting growth factor, so really as large pots as you have space for is best unless you are going for something like a sog where you are shooting for smaller plants.
