so I have this oil...

I made some infused coconut oil with some flower but I'm thinking maybe I didn't get the decarb process right. Is it possible to decarb infused oil? the reason I don't think I did the decarb right is because when I use the oil to make gummies I get nothing. I used a Levo machine several times and end up with oil that just doesn't seem to have any puch at all. The levo is supposed to decarb before you add the oil but I just don't think it's really doing it right?

Yea the levo comes with an extra basket for more for infusion. Need to use at least half oz or whole one. Decarb at 235° for 40 min then when add oil add a teaspoon or so of lectin it makes a huge difference it binds everything together the cannabinoids. People who don't feel edibles use this and can feel effects know helps your body break down THC. Also want to use lectin with coconut oils anyway to mix better than olive oil. I get gummies made from levo and oil all comes out great uses a oz of bud though so it's strong.

What and how much did you use for the source? The infusion process should continue to decarb anything you didn’t get initially. Ideally anyway. Also, how long did you allow the diffusion process to take place?

I used it per the instructions. However long that is. I even infused for like ten hours! still not much of a punch. I used both baskets. So plenty of flower. I then made gummies with the levo gummie maker and mix( which contains the lectin). Did everything per intructions. Came out with basically crap for gummies. I've tried several times. I even borrowed my friends levo 2 (Ihave the bigger one) to see if I could get some gummies that would get me high. still nothing. How is it that others get plenty high? I'm using flower that I know is good too.

Maybe I should add lectin? seems unlikely that would be the missing link but maybe??

I was wondering if I can decarb the infused oil after the infusion? Can I decarb the finished oil?

How much went in originally for what quantity? Really important aspect. Honestly, I’m not an expert, though I’ve tried lots of different stuff at this point. Once the original material is removed, I suspect no more decarbing happens. Filtering out the weed should be the last step. 10 hours sounds too long. I usually do three or so. Overcooking during decarb and/or during infusion are both pretty common. I use lecithin. Not sure how much it helps, but all the rounds with it have been effective. Good luck.

Not familiar with the product you used to decarb, but I use regular kitchen tools. Perfectly effective. I decarb the weed on a pan in the oven then use a homemade double boiler (mix oil and weed in a mason jar, place in a pot of lightly boiling to pre boiling water for three hours or so. Then filter.

Infuse for 8 hrs don't need longer and add lecithin to it while it infuses then strain out herb and try it out if you have enough before making gummies. Like a teaspoon or two of oil. Put in something so can take to try I really think you should feel it then, your body need the lecithin to get affects a lot of people won't feel it without.
