I have a question..I'll post it here instead of sounding stupid on someone else's thread. For anyone that's done a 12/12 from seed grow: Do you use your flowering lights the entire time?? I'm thinking about adding about 8 42w 2700k's and just switching everything over. My buddy's got a couple sprouts he doesn't have room for and I wanna take 'em and grow 'em in party cups. Anybody have any opinion on this?

As far as I know you would use a flowering light the whole time, or at least a mix of them, but mainly flowering. I just did the same in my grow, Im just going to keep adding seeds everynow and then, hopefully stagger my little harvests..

Yeah, right now I'm using a portion of a walk-in area that leads to my attic..an area that never got remodeled or anything, but it's got 3 shelves back there and I'm using the area under the bottom shelf. I plan on converting the whole area eventually..one day. But its basically perfect, the attic is right above and the area is kind of U-shaped with the door to the hallway on the other side from where I'm set up, so it creates sort of a light trap. I plan to eventually split the area in half and use a false wall to keep it seperate from the storage area. But, thats way down the line. I'm fine with my little ghetto rig for the moment. Although I am going to add some more lights soon. And build some sort of permanent hood and trash this turkey pan. Ha.

Haha! I have a turkey pan too, lol. Yeah I plan on going with a grow tent eventually, maybe two in a closet, little perpetual sog. I think ill end up switching to DWC too eventually..

I haven't read Hunter's books I'll check into that. Everything looks good bro. Yeah I would just switch out your bulbs and if you have a few lamps put the 6400k spectrum in them and use for side lighting that's what I did my first time around. I had 3 females and they produced about 17 grams each of dried cured bud. They went thew a flood and stuff too and I harvested a week early for some reason or another I don't even remember why now.
Perpetual SOG is what I'm going to do this round when bloom area is done. I'm considering switching to a self made aeroponic system after a few harvests go threw and I have the time and funds. I like soil though.

I think a perpetual SOG is what I'm leaning toward too in the future. Maybe I'll start cutting a few clones just in case this thing turns out good. I can't make up my mind what I wanna do really. I read thru a thread where a dude was doing vertical scrog's with flood tubes earlier. That would be nice. Haha.

My wife reads probably a book or two a week..and not them dimestore novels either. I like to read if it suits me. I go in stages. If I like an author I can easily burn a decent sized book down in a few nights. Thanks for the tip..I will check it out.

Yeah he was definitely a character. And screw jack is my favorite by him. If you can find any of his original magazine articles and such, those are awesome. I'll check around in a bit to see if I can find a link or something. And, yeah I'll be putting up some new pics tomorrow. Hell, I might do it tonight before lights out, never know.

Yeah should cut clones when their sexed. You can keep clones alive pretty easy for months if you need time before your ready for them. These plants shoot up when the light cycle is changed. My first go around plants were 4.4' tall and were only around 18-20" before 12/12.
