That calmag may be throwing off your calcium/magnesium levels. It looks like a magnesium deficiency.

But, Mitus, you should really start a thread in the plant problems section of the forums to get a better response.
Thanks a lot for the tip on the calmag.

There's a plant problems section? I thought we just learned everything from this thread

True that!

But, Mitus, are you using tap or RO water? If you're using unfiltered tap water you are more than likely experiencing a magnesium deficiency due to the high calcium content of tap water.

The calmag probably has a bit of both calcium and magnesium, which would be great for RO water. But if magnesium is already locked out by the calcium levels in your water, adding calmag may not be helping a thing.

Try using some epsom salt instead (super cheap in the pharmacy section and the grocery store), start with a pinch per gallon, but no more than half a teaspoon or your PPM will skyrocket!

I'm using RO water. I'm not going to use calmag for the next batch of nutrients and see how things go. Thanks a lot for the info.

u need to supplement with cal mag if your running ro water,
just go low, stinks recipe is way to high
also don't mix your cal mag with the rest of the nutes
flip back few pages there's a whole discussion on that subject

Hello SOG, do you think that using an old gt424 nft tank which is 1m long by 0.5m wide and converting it to an aeroponic tank with 24 -3" net pots will yield more than growing one big plant for 4 weeks veg in the nft?

i could even put 2 tanks under one light for a total of 48 plants and veg for 1week and get a harvest 3weeks earlier than growing one big plant with nft.

do you think it would make a big gain in yield?

ps. sorry about being a moody twat on the heaths flooded vertical thread.

pps. im in the process of building a similar version of heaths mini vertical using drain pipe with a diameter of 45 inches plantwise, the frame is 50" diameter. gonna run it like nft. just looking to get the max out of one 600w bulb per 1.2m sq.

its an interesting question, i believe the answer is yes!
you can probably yeild more with one big tree then with many small ones

if you jump on GypsyBush's Picture Depot
he is running a side by side batch of his style perpetual grow
and Mblaze's style grow (one giant tree)

yes you can,
rotation is usually plays when you have low lumens
and your trying to spread them around evenly

media is usually the grower's preference
you prob benefit if you spend some time here
enjoy ;)

I am. I have 2 of my tents hooked up to one filter.

-Mitusbongsmilie
are you happy with these?
they seem the most logic choice compared to Canfilters carbon

i cant find specs for using their filter as a scrubber

I am extremely satisfied with this filter. It went from stinky to near scentless in here overnight.

i already know about mountainaire...they used those in hospitals and shit. those are the real deal.

i've been eyeing a fresh filter for my whole room instead of separate flowering room carbon filters like i do now.
