Hey Al,
I'm still tinkering and perfecting my icebox,
there are no plans yet, as I'm developing this as i go
made amazing progress as of last night, i cannot go into details yet
all i can say is, it will be revolutionary once i come out with the final prototype

SOG this is the most unbelievable setup I have ever seen. You are a jack of all trades sir. I dont believe I could ever need another thread to read for all the info. Thank you for taking the time to post up your amazing journey bro.

Mr SOG I read all the way thru that last night and was unable to sleep thinking about all the great info in your setup journal. I just had a couple questions if you could clear me up because it seems to be against the grain of what I had read.
You stated a MH bulb alone could keep a plant in veg (I assume you were talking about leaving the lighting up at 18-20 hours?)
You stated a MH bulb would also be the best choice for a 1 bulb setup (Ive always heard its best to use std HPS?)
You also stated some optimal wattage by size of room and no matter what kind of room I thought up I couldnt get more than 10 watts a sq foot. (is 20-25 watts / sqft really possible?) I dont think you could fit 20000W in a 10x10x10.
While we are on the topic... Usually people go by a lumens / sq foot. First off do you believe in this type of algorithm or you go by watts? Second.. Do lumens add? As in 2 600 watt lights with 90000 lumens a pc is 180000 lumens / sq footage ?

For veg I used MH only for 18 hours a day. I know some people that keep their mother plants under 24 hour MH light.

and must be used in the correct grow stage

I'm very impressed with your room build and attention to detail and testing. I found the post to be both entertaining and educational as well. Your craftsmanship was impeccable and well thought out. I have built a lot of rooms and your room should be a standard that is referred to as the "right way" to do it.(by right I mean, if your going to do something take the time to plan it out and do it RIGHT!!!)
As far as the the lumen's, they don't add up but can be spread by the use of more than one bulb for coverage--If you have 10 bulbs with an lumen output of 140,000 per bulb you still only have a lumen output of 140,000 total when all the bulbs are on but you are now able to spread the lumen coverage from 10 different sources. Looking forward to more pics and post from you----great job!!!

Nice! Looks great! Way to flower in the tubs! I like those GH WaterFarms too.
