actually i LIKE New Nelson.

Nelson Classic was a real piece of shit though.

pretending his shit dont stink may make for an excellent Legendary Hero or assist in his future deification, but it aint reality, and reality is what counts.
Yeah reality shows you ignoring the pile of steaming shit that apartheid in south Africa was back then to denigrate a black man fighting against it

Reality counts Keynes and throwing Marxist slurs around does not absolve you from your share of reality

As I said before you seem more rankled than usual

Then why say it so much?

Speaking of history don't leave out the Mccarthy witch hunt. The result is that you simply call someone a marxist and suddenly they lose all credibility and in many cases even landed behind bars.
A fascist used the Marxist label for his own self serving purposes? Say it ain't so.

There were some Marxist "witches" actually operating in the US, though, e.g. the Rosenbergs...

When a cause comes along and you know in your bones that it is just, yet refuse to defend it-at that moment you begin to die. And I have never seen so many corpses walking around talking about justice." -Mumia Abu Jamal

cuz a dude who shoots a cop because his brother is being stopped for driving the wrong way on a one-way street is just so much the "prisoner of conscience"

but i guess the cops shot their own man, just to frame him because he was such a powerful voice for the Black Panther Movement driving a cab part time.

is there any lefty cause you will not embrace?

yes. apartheid was bad.

this does not mean the ANC were choir boys or noble warriors for justice and freedom.

Ghandi got the job done without planting any bombs or instituting an authoritarian socialist state.

but then Neslon is no Ghandi.

Edit: "Marxist" is not a slur, since he WAS ONE. he was a Black African too, is that a slur?
he was a convict, was that a slur?
he organized a terrorist network with the help of notorious self-avowed Marxists using the literature of other notable Marxists and did everything possible to become a card carrying Marxist except sign on the dotten line, in a nation where signing that dotted line was a death sentence for a black guy. is that a slur too?

keep struggling with the truth, someday youll realize that Marxism is not a political party or a social group it is an ideology, and many who subscribe to the ideology NEVER actually join up and pay the dues for their card.

Wow! I didn't notice AC's sig.

AC, maybe you should also add a quote from smokin' Jo Stalin? Maybe this one: "when one man dies it's a tragedy, when a million men die it's a statistic"?

The authoritarian state was already there

I challenge you to show Nelson Mandela doing anything but moving away from that

EDIT: WHEN HE GOT THE "POWER GRAB" YOU CLAIMED

First line of the ANC's 1970 platform.

The struggle of the oppressed people of South Africa is taking place within an international context of transition to the Socialist system, of the breakdown of the colonial system as a result of national liberation and socialist revolutions, and the fight for social and economic progress by the people of the whole world.

heres the whole thing dumbass.

ohh who was the head of the ANC in 1970?

Nelson Mandela. Marxist
That doesn't say he is a marxist.

He was a democratic socialist.

"Conventional wisdom would have one believe that it is insane to resist this, the mightiest of empires, but what history really shows is that today's empire is tomorrow's ashes; that nothing lasts forever, and that to not resist is to aquiesce in your own oppression. The greatest form of sanity that anyone can exercise is to resist that force that is trying to repress, oppress, and fight down the human spirit." -Mumia Abu Jamal
