  1. When harvesting from (1.1) males (1.2) females, is it better to harvest when the plant has been... {a} freshly watered {b} 1-3 days since last water {c} slightly thirsty {d} drooping from thirst {e} other

  9. Yes I know my plants are tiny, they are so on purpose.

1) depends on the need of the plant. Even males need to be as healthy as possible to harvest. If they need water/food and haven't dropped pollen, water/feed them.

3)I always dried my trim leaves before processing. Maybe others do it different.

7) Leave popcorn buds and leaves on.
 
Check this out for harvesting male pollen. When they're close, cut your branches off long enough to hang over a glass table and insert them in water like I did with these empty salt shakers. Old bottles or anything clean will work.
They will remain healthy and eventually drop pollen on the collection surface
Remove flowers, scrape like cocaine, and store it in cold.

This will help prevent cross contamination also

The mason jars in the background was where I cured and stored my stash. Look close and you can see my ready to smoke buds in sandwich plastic.

People don’t appreciate just how little pollen it takes to get a lot of seeds. A fine tip artists brush and a light touch and voila. You’ve got enough pollen on the table for thousands and thousands of seeds.
 
I'm not really looking to harvest the pollen I'm looking to harvest the plant for use in butter and oils and such. Male still do show significant amounts of everything we look for in females, just not as potent
