Flipping to 12/12 this evening. :) Plant 1 and Plant 4 are about 15", Plant 2 and Plant 3 are about 13". Within the last 24 hours, they have really taken off!

I'll get the last set of pre-bud pictures this evening. Stay tuned.

Lookin' good Sensei! Keep us posted.

I'm back with a few pictures I snapped last night. My camera is struggling with the MH light, but you get the idea... Leaves are a tiny bit droopy in these pics, but a nice drink of water fixed that right up.

Would you guys agree that my taller 2 are likely more Cheese dominant while the shorter 2 are more Querkle dominant?

I'm trying to compare my plants with Subcool's (Shaggy and Wilma) and Hovering's (CQ # 3 and CQ #5) test grows to see which phenos I might have. :)

What's up nerds?

Back with yet another update, this time it's day 7 of 12/12. Lookin good to me! I'm pretty much sold on the main-lining technique. The canopy is staying nice and even; I just have to sit Plant 2 and Plant 3 on some blocks to level them with the taller ones. The taller 2 (Plant 1 and Plant 4) are stretching a little, but nothing crazy. Plant 2 and Plant 3 are BARELY stretching so far. They are just filling in and growing big fat stalks. The smell is starting to kick up a notch. Can't put a finger on it just yet, but the cheese-funk is definitely a part of it.

Anyway, on to the pics. The top view is of Plant 2, one of the shorties (front right in the group shots). That canopy shot REALLY makes me smile...

Jeez... 7 days into bloom and they are already putting my carbon filter to the test...

Any recommendations on a good (but affordable!) carbon filter? The ones i've been using are the Phresh Filters, but they seem to break through pretty quickly...

Have you smoked the cq yet? This is the best bud on the planet hands down. Here are a few of mine ending week three. They already smell amazing. Btw I did NO pruning or lst. Cq just grows badd ass like that. Best wishes your in for a real treat. ( take clones!!!)

Btw I'm testing a new product and looking for super soil growers.

Nice! I assume those are from clone?

Got clones of each of the 4 I'm flowering. Hopefully I'll find something special.

Chris- As far as the product testing.. I've gotta be honest and let you know I'm not terribly interested. Subcool's Super Soil is the gateway to my coming years of soil mixing and all kinds of organic experimentation. I am moving slowly toward creating MY OWN mix from scratch, not so much toward another product on the market (or hoping to be on the market).

Thanks for the heads up about your soil product, and I wish you good luck in marketing it. :)

Last night I treated the CQ's to an AACT brewed from worm castings, splash of fish hydrolysate, pinch of alfalfa meal, pinch of kelp meal, pinch of bloom guano, pinch of Great White (added for last 30 min of brew) and a little glop of black strap molasses. The "pinches" we're small, just to add some microbe diversity to the brew.

Next round of pics coming soon...

REALLY surprised by the lack of stretch on my two shorties... They started bloom at about 14 inches, and are barely topping 17 inches 10 days later.

No pics this evening (Giants game) but lets just say they liked the tea I gave them last night. Just checked on them and the only word that comes to mind is "perky". :)

What's up Nerds?

Back with a quick photo update. Things are looking good to me. I cleared out the understory yesterday to give them a little breathing room. Shorties (#2 and #3) are staying short, taller ones (#1 and #4) are stretching their legs a little.

Think that's about it for now. The little one is a clone of #2. Clones from all 4 are looking reasonably happy (mostly left alone)...

Enjoy!
