One of my lights is a sf 4000 and I have no complaints whatsoever. Everything you buy has a potential to be faulty. Especially these days

just wanted to update you guys. Spider Farmer emailed me back, once again asking to take a video, I told them no way and said I'd take a pic of it plugged in and not working, so we settled on that. Will see how long the process takes.
Are you suggesting that HLGs can't break, or just TRYING to be funny?

I had to do this with a faulty VIVOSUN 600w LED. I sent them the video and got a full refund a few hours later and pitched the broken fixture in the trash.

I'm suggesting that HLG is better quality.
you can suggest all you want, doesn't make you correct
humor them until you come to a conclusion.
Call CC company extended warranty dept
Get the rest of your money.
i did this for a pos table after months of it sagging (made a mistake using overstock they suck ass) and i got all the money back.
If not chuck it or save it for spare parts and relax.

Another update. Sent them my order number and a picture of the light plugged in and not working. They assured me they'd fix the issue but havent heard anything since yesterday morning.

This thread is killing my hopes of selling my 2 SF 1000s. Least I can say that they lasted one full grow.

it is too hot, more than 80degree, I think the heatsin k is too small.

Never had any heat issues with mine but I placed a clip fan so that it was blowing across the top of the boards.
