So.... By your thinking ... Would you say superthrive during flowering helped you gain more yield? Sounds like you use tons !

I think that the way I used it, it made the branches very very thick and able to support a huge amount of bud. I'll admit I thought I hurt my plant with it at one point because the stems all turned red, but then in a week or so the sides of the main trunk were splitting due to rapid expansion. I use liberal amounts of ST. I was just sitting in bed with my girl showing her this thread an having a good laugh an she commented I rarely even measure it anymore just splash it in ( I buy a 1 gallon jug) an she would guess I sometimes put a fair bit more then a oz in. It's a plant an every one of them likes different foods this strain responded well. I think ST is needed to reduce stress an I really hit them hard with light. I don't use it past a few weeks into flower.

There are some people who express strong opinions against ST, I don't know why why the research they post points
toward potential benefits. In the end I don't care if they use it or not. It seemed to help my trees (real trees). In the end,
if a strong yield is achieved it matters not what got you there.

Well said ...

when I started this thread, I honestly had no clue ppl would have such strong options on ST. It seems most ppl hate the stuff but some Ppl rather like it with good results.

Im going to carry on with ST because it works for me - this grow I will use it throughout flower and see how it goes - growingforfun has shown that it can be done with huge benefits - that may not be down to ST but it seems to have helped right?

Interesting comments and debate though .... Even if there were a few heated moments

I have to disagree with you on that point. If you get a high yield of hay then it wasn't worth it.
Sometimes the taste lacks when you only go after yield. I know there are plenty who don't mind
the harsh smoke and coughing fits that usually ensue. Just a thought...

Does the hay get the job done?

We have already figured this out, thanks to DANKSWAG. B-1 and thiamine are not necessary as it's the auxins(rooting hormone) that are good. From your link.

The bottom line: While root stimulator products are not necessary for transplant success, if you do use one, make sure it contains a rooting hormone and fertilizer rather than just vitamin B1. The vitamin B1 is for marketing purposes rather than actual effect.

But yeah, I STILL wouldn't use it. Just the labeling is enough to not use it.
According my friend the REV, which I take his word as Gospel, using myco fungi (mycorrhizal fungi) granular form if best for transplanting. He recommends and I concur placing the granular form of myco fungi into the soil where root ball where rest. Then use the soluble form in watering for the next couple of weeks. You could also use fresh earth worm castings as well, or dried castings which would be runner up to fresh. This is best organic way to ensure plant roots take off.:bigjoint:

Never! Rev is all about organic. He has specifically said not to use it for organic grow. It is not good for the micro life in the soil, along with CalMag plus and liquid karma to name a few items.

What he does recommend is Alpha meal for the soil for it has a know scientifically all natural organic proven growth enhancing hormone called tracantanol, could also aide in fighting off parasitic fungi.

Also as a flowering safety net whereas some plants are hungrier or in extreme cases where the micro life in the soil is locked or need to revitalize fungi half strength of Roots Organic Serene.. as with all flowering stop feeding last weeks of flower.
