It's horrible and completely inexcusable what he did to you Carne, and I'm sorry you have to carry that with you through life.. you know I empathize with you (you know my history)

But if it is consensual, then it's no different to two people meeting eachother in the park, at the library or at a bar to me, though of course things like what happened to you do happen in public libraries. These sorts of incidents should be assessed on a case by case basis. He hit it, then submits her to public defamation, she (I assume) goes to jail. WTF. Someone molests you in a public library, but they weren't in a position like a schoolteacher and they go free. WTF.
