I've never seen anybody stop slight animal abuse.. If you even wanna consider tugging on a leash abuse..

So I highly doubt any internet super heroes would rush out in their boxers and do something about it.

Interesting... you took my original quote of

"It goes on everywhere, everyday, in many different forms. Thanks to people like you. "

And turned it into

"bad things happen because of good people"

If you're going to rephrase something, please make sure that it holds true to the original intended message. Bad things don't happen because of good people, at least not in this sense. And in this sense, you are not a good person. You didn't help that dog.

Obviously people are responsible for their own behaviour. We're not talking about the kid throwing stones at a streetlight, or spray painting a wall. I don't care if you stop shit like that. But when abuse is being committed against an animal that can't protect itself and you do nothing to stop it, you're just as irresponsible as they are.
I just chopped the head off a chicken.... sadly not one person at the farm intervened. I thought it was quite a gruesome act.

You'd have stopped me right though? Please tell me you would have. Please.

My view. Most people keep their dogs inside while their at work or school. Then they come home and take them for a short walk and they're stuck inside for the rest of the day. So if the walk is the one time a dog gets exercise which it needs to be healthy, but is being yelled at (dogs respond to tone, for the ignoramuses) and yanked on by its leash (put a leash around your neck and let someone give it a few tugs and see how you feel) I think its abuse. Like I said, anytime I have seen abuse day or night, high or sober, slight or extreme, I have spoken up and gotten the abuse to stop for at least that time. If you want to relegate other living beings to what abuse they can withstand, go ahead, but you're a pussy.

No to be honest if you chopped the head off yourself it is more humane than how most chickens are killed in poultry farms. Why don't you go stick your head in a chicken coup, take a couple of deep breaths in, and try again.

Of course not.. Dogs are cute, and we only care about cute things.

Chop off a chicken's head and fine, whatever. But chop off a dogs head and you're the devil. It's the way it works.

Perhaps in the older days chickens may have been abused.... But that's highly unlikely now with animal regulations. In saying that though pointing out things to someone with a very strong opinion on a subject isn't going to change what information they believe, whether it be fact or fiction. I've had many friends who have worked at chicken factories and not one has mentioned abuse whilst explaining how the factory runs. The only thing I could possibly relate to such things would be the workers they have to pick up the chickens from the coops (which are massive and often classified as free-range as they are so large) they pick them up, upside down with their legs so they themselves aren't attacked. We've got to eat right? Or are you a vegetarian also?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but you don't need to enforce it on others. Simply because someone doesn't stand up for an animals "rights" doesn't mean their any less of a person than you or I.

By all means.

Cats are dicks.. They'll scratch you and stuff.

If it's a chill cat, I wouldn't want you to kick it. But the answer is still yes.. You can always kick a cat if you want.
Thank you.
I'll kick the neighbor's cat later.

If I was on a island which only had dogs on it and I had to eat, I would slice that dogs head off in an instant.

Would you prefer to die?

Ok I'm sorry.. Don't kick cats.

You know what? Fuck it, kick the shit out of them. Last week I went out on my balcony and out of nowhere a cat jumped onto my leg, clawed the fuck out of it, and bit me then took off like a fucking ninja. happened in less than 2 seconds. I'd kick the shit out of that cat.

In a dog park, yes.
Nobody said anything about a dog park. The op said a kid was walking his dog outside of the OPs house and he pulled on the leash. Some dogs are retarded and don't listen, which is why they are on a leash in the first place.

I don't want to die. But, I don't want to be bored either.

So, I would have dogfights...
