THC Bomb Mothers in Flower.

I will when they are dry so you have a more accurate look at THC Bomb buds. Though, it is impossible to capture the way the resin glands sparkle and twinkle. If you know what I mean, you know good pot. THC Bomb is a heavy hitter that makes you want to do nothing. It's almost too strong of a couch-lock high for me. For those looking for chronic pain relief or a sleep aid, she will not disappoint. Almost all the buds are identical because of the scrog canopy. They are not as dense as I am used to, but I've never flowered under the 400w before; the buds probably lose a lot with the loss in wattage. I'd love to see the strain flower under a 1000w or better, if you try it, send me a link.

Just finished chopping the rest of mine under a 1k. Will throw up a few more shots. Excellent grow bro, and very nice detailed journal.

Lame. No interest makes posting pointless. These forums used to be full of great discussion, now it's seems it is all new growers and journals.

Likely signing off,

Nooooo, some of us are still mad keen (although I am one of the new growers you mentioned). Very keen to see your recent dry weights and very very keen to see the results of your topping experiment.

Awsome setup, = awsome results, You've got both! Exellent job cudos!!!! I think I'll follow this for a while very nice, refreshing and informing. With great group of followers and lots of great coments. This is why I started logging on to riu universitiy!!!!! way to go keep up this very important and exellent work!!!!!! +rep to you duder, this is so well written It's been A real pleasure to get on and read this, this A.M. Also cudos to those who have responded, great group of growers following this. I'm gonna subsrcibe.

I was just pouring through my notebook, several years ago I tried working with a Blue strain,( Marge Simpsons hair). I tried three times to create a population of clones, At the point of abandoning the cloneing projuect, I tried one more time. And found some success, 18 of 20 clone cuts. Hears the supprize, and my notes don't say why I did it this way but here goes. For some reason I used jiffy pots, I don't ever use these because the high acidity. And my notes don't leave any clue to why I tried them. Also I switched up from my regular clonex to rootone, and also explains why there is a bottle of it on my shelf now. I've used this long ago with decent return on offspring. Everything seems to be the same technich wise, 45 deg cut with sterile knife, followed by a slicing cut with scalpel 1/4 inch up from that, tip the leaves, rootone, then jiffy pot. There is mention that in week two I top dressed the j-p, with rootone at watering. It also mentioned it took 4 weeks for roots to form enough to plant. And leaves where looking necrotic. All recovered and 18 where bloomed. Hope this gives a little insight, I've never, to my memory gave much thought to this group until now, mabey some strains won't clone unless in slightly acidic mediam?
Also duder we emplor you not to shut this down some of us are interested, I don't think there is many growers growing the strains you are growing, and this is quickly becoming a great guide for those of us who are interested in trying some bomb seeds. So keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!

I am humbled by the respect as a grower I seem to receive. Being so far long from my first cycles, I tend to forget what is like to still do research nightly and tons of experimenting and the like. In a way I have settled for my preferences; but still look for that edge.

I was saddened to watch all the clones from the THC Bomb mothers die in the early trials. Interestingly enough, none of the sterile/typical cloning techniques would work; what did root was 3 clones which I left completely untouched after removing them from the moms in a tall glass of plain distilled water. Then I set-up an aero-cloner with an L.E.D over it and had success from 16 out of 20 clones in about 7 days. I used Clonex liquid cloning solution at half strength. The aero-cloner has 5 -360 degree mister nozzles if anyone cares to know. I kept the 6 strongest clones and put them in permanent pots. The new moms are basking under the 400w MH at 48 inches above the tops. They recovered from the transplant in 4 days.

Worth a mention: The White L.S.D, grown from seed, will not produce an even canopy when growing multiple plants in an unrestrained method. This is true it would seem for topped and un-topped control groups. The THC Bomb is more uniform from seed; most were nearly identical in height, though virility was not always equal. Of course, this problem is easily fixed by growing from clones.

Short plants have been raised, some significantly, to match their sisters. The last nutrient feeding was raised another 100ppm, at 1240ppm currently with no signs of nutrient overload. Run-off ph tests randomly at around 6.5 and a ppm of around 1100 and an EC of around 2.7. Lower leaves yellow and fall at predictable rates and are removed as needed. NEVER TAKE A FAN LEAF THE PLANT WONT EASILY GIVE YOU WITH A GENTLE PULL. I read a lot about removing fan leaves. To each their own, not everyone will listen to reason, me, or Jorge.

The 3 THC bombs underneath the scrog in the larger room have been slightly shadowed by the nearby girls, yet continue to look as they should and have grown from the screen about 20 inches. Almost all growth beneath the screen has died off naturally with minor branches being removed in week 1 of flower.

The stretch on the White L.S.D is unreal!!! If you grow her, plan on needing vertical height or a method to wank her down. Flowered at a foot, my tallest is near 4 and a half feet after the stretch. Thank HTG for yo-yo hangers.

I realized I forgot harvest pics as I started typing, I will post them tomorrow after work sometime. I can tell you that the dried, FULLY manicured weight of the 2 THC Bomb mothers was 264 grams. I am disappointed. The quality is the same as prior cycles but the weight is diminished. This likely has all to do with the treatment of the mothers in veg and flower vs. my typical methods. It goes to show you that a shit-ton of training and pruning is NOT a good thing.

Enjoy...
-Dude'r

P.S-- Thanks again all! Glad to have you Melungeonman.

Forgot to mention that the 6 new moms are 2 of each of my current strains. White L.S.D, G13 Haze, and the THC Bomb.

I am going to e-mail someone about changing the name of this thread to something more continuous sounding than the current title. Any ideas?

Pictures tonight.

Thanks duder these pics look great did ya try air layering while going through the clone issues? Iv'e made some damm healthy clones that way just takes a while but great roots also there is the one at a time issue with this unless you tie the air clones to their own stick, but it shure makes nice non necrotic mothers they even keep growing through the process well thought Id mention the tech to ya.

With the mothers, almost all the buds were identical. This is because of the scrog and pruning and training that the girls received. The weight is off yes, but by how much I couldn't compare. For some time now I have mearly compared my yield to how near/over one gram per what it is. In my mothers closet, the room wasn't full. The quality is indistinguishable from previous cycles though. It is almost as if they just didn't expand as much as they should of.

I just found a quick strain review of White L.S.D from a source I had not seen before. Attributed a 80% Sativa dominant hybrid to the strain. This is likely accurate considering the massive stretch they receive in early flower. The site claimed similar 600g/m2 yields without any pictures to prove it. We shall see.

Starting to fill in nicely. They are anxious to show off tomorrow after their feeding.

So, not much to write about this week. No more vertical growth and all the buds are really starting to fill in and produce trichomes like crazy. The pictures are today, day 32 of flower.

Here are the White L.S.D sluts on day 43 of flower. Very, very sticky! Not to stinky yet.

I have gotten the nutrient level to 1440ppm before showing slight burn on the leaf tips. Again, I use strictly the Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow & Bloom. No supplements except molasses at 2 tablespoons per gallon of feed/nutrient water.

The new mothers are doing well too and should be ready for cloning upon the finish of the current flower cycle.

Sorry for the 2 week abscence. Work and collegiate studies take precedence.

The girls are fattening nicely. It would seem I cannot buy enough stakes to support their weight. I was unaware of the 80% sativa genetics of the White L.S.D. The stretch was unbelievable. More than triple their veg heights for some. That said, I even thought of chopping some of the heaviest that can't help but lean. As long as they don't snap, they're staying on.

Only a couple weeks left. The resin on these is more like tacky superglue. Literally. The smell is very potent, very piney. It even overpowers my carbon filters capabilities. I will certainly looking into a new strain to try that has my indica favor.

Even the lower buds have dense resin, though typically small. Main colas are hard like rocks and leave a resin on your hands that can't easily be washed of. I tried Dawn and a kitchen sponge and my hand still stuck to everything. Nasty stuff.

Another note for any White L.S.D growers. The strain does not like dry soil. I have kept almost every strain on an identical schedule, yet only these droop so drastically when the feed time is delayed.

Beware...Hazard ahead.
