Glad to have you along, and thanks. Pakalolo: do you make it yourself or is there somewhere to buy it?

I do not use it at this time I grow from seed. I do know someone who does use it, they also have a willow tree in their yard. Your rooting hormone products have the same hormone (IBA - I believe) in it. If you have a willow tree near by try it, it does work. Search the net for the proper branch thickness and cut length, can't remember off the top of my head. But it is an old recipe that people have used for years.

I would personally like to try the air layering technique one day. Doing so with larger plants, you can make your cutting a foot taller or more if you choose, then pretty much skipping the veg stage if you wish after rooted and transplanted. There are some vidz on the Tube check them out, pretty simple really.

Good luck with your method of choice.

I looked into the air layering and it doesnt seem that method would work for me. I need 36, or at least 12 clones at a time. Perhaps using the willow bark in an aerocloner would be wise. I'd like to try one anyway so the money is well spent.

i could take some, but I like only doing it once a week so new growth and progression is more noticeable. Every Monday I update with new pics. I am anxious to show the different phenotypes clearly present in the THC Bomb strain. I have 3 in veg for identical time, feed identically, topped identically, and rotated identically, yet are clearly different in stature, inter-nodal length, and even slightly off in color. Stay tuned...

Have 3 bombs in 3 weeks flower now, looks similar to yours. They all 3 cloned very easy. One plant is noticable thicker then the other 2.

Pretty simple, just took a cut set it in h202 water for a couple of minutes, then right into a cup of water with rooting solution for a minute and then into a ready rooter and then in to the tray. Kept the inside of the dome close to 75 temp and 75 humidity.

I did the same. Almost 200 failures. I will try again with my pre-flower cuttings. I can't figure it out. I tried so many things to get it to work, the problem is either in the strain or in something I am doing. I have heard of a few success' now. For the life of me I can't think of anything wrong in my methods. What rooting solution worked for you? I tried Clonex, Olivia's, and a cheap M.G powder.

I used some cheap RooTing powder. Did you shave the stem a little before using the rooting solution? If you are using rooters, make sure they are fresh. Tried them in some old ones and they didn't take so well. The first few days I keep them mostly in the dark.

I tried many different scaring methods on those. Usually the gill cuts work great for me. I also keep them in darkness for 2 days after the cutting. The rooters were bought the day before and soaked all night in distilled water. I tried Rapid Rooters, Jiffy plugs, Grodan, Soil, Water, and perlite as a medium. It is very discouraging.
