THC Bomb Mothers in Flower.

When you make your cut, are you immediately putting them into a glass of water? If not try this, if you don't sometimes air will get into your cut and cause problems. Cut, place in glass of water, scrape, re-cut, apply to solution of choice, apply to medium of choice.

Yeah I don't water the rooter until seed is in side. I use ro water or just bottled water.

How low are you going to let the night time temps get? Do you use a dehumidifier at night? I haven't seen 1 thc bomb to look like there pixs.

Out of 40 White L.S.D seeds, 32 germinated, sprouted and are strong. 3 didn't germinate at all and 5 had abnormal growth and were disgarded.
Out of 3 G13 haze seeds, 3 germinated but only one fully sprouted. Only the 1 remains and the remaining 2 were disgarded.
These numbers are very low! I almost always have near 100% success rates. I'd like to think the error is not mine. The White L.S.D came buy one get one free and the G13 were free altogether so i suppose I shouldn't complain over failed free seeds.

What remains and will (God willing) make it through the grow is 36 girls in my larger room: 3 THC Bomb, 1 G13 Haze, and 32 White L.S.D. 12 under each 600w Mh/HPS. I still have the 2 mothers in flowers as well in the smaller room.

I have an air conditioner for the room on order in the hopes of lowering night-time temperatures during flower so the buds may go purple. I'd like the daytime temps down 5 degrees as well. Should be here soom.

I was going to shoot for around 60 degrees and keep the day temps to around 78. I haven't had one finish as advertised by Marijuana-seeds.nl either. The quality is accurate but my yield has never been 600m/2 though, nor identical to their pictures. The bud is crazy good and typically has a fuck load of red hairs. You can load a bull from just hair at the end of every ounce. I will do some more research on the proper night temps before I fully settle on something. There is no guarantee the colder night temps will turn the buds purple, but from what I have read so far, it is possible for every strain to do so as a defense from the cold.

The humidity gods have blessed me with a constant 40% with around 50% on feed/water days. If the air conditioner changed that, I would act accordingly.

Keep a eye on humidity at night when the lights go off. Glad to hear it is a good smoke. A lot of plants don't turn purple when cold, but a good pheno doesn't need cold to turn color. I see they are pretty hardy feeders. What do you keep your ppm's in flower? I'm close to 2.0 ec or 1000 ppm's with no signs of burn and just starting the 4th week.

With the A.N Grow and Bloom I always measure to 1040ppm exactly, then add in 2 tblspn. of mollasses. The ph is always between 5.6 and 5.9. I have never seen a burn of deficiency either. I love the whole line. I will probably dabble with some Grape Ape in the near future, that goes almost a blackish purple. I am interested to test the cold night temp. theory on different strains. The A.C will be here on Friday. I can't install it in the mother's closet so It is meant to cool the larger room in a month or so when they all make the flip.

I love testing different things on identical plants. I try my best to keep the variables the same throughout the grow. When I was growing these current mothers, I left the left plant only topped a few times, whereas the other mother on the right was topped at every new node and only the strongest were left behind after each clone reaping. I am interested to compare their yield. The left mother has slightly more dense buds already, though the right mother has many more bud sites just a tad smaller.

Waiting till lights out at 6pm to take better pictures of the mothers. Stay tuned...

The 3 THC Bombs in veg are at about 15 inches now. As you can see from the pictures, though they all were started the same and grown identically, they have varied sizes. I have noticed these difference in other THC Bomb seeds I've gotten from Marijuana-seeds.nl. One is a bit taller due to father spaced nodes and tighter in color. The petals are slightly thinner as well. The majority of the attempts at this strain have progressed similar to the shorter two which are darker and have much shorter and fatter petals. It is as though one phenotype is more sativa than the other. No big deal. Since they are so big already, I will not be topping the plants that surround them so that the main colas from them will match the canopy of the THC Bombs.

The mothers glisten with trichomes! Bud growth is filling every void and the hairs are everywhere as usual with this strain. They have a pine and fruit smell now when you rub a leaf. Today was day 26 of Flower for the moms.

All the White L.S.D and the single G13 Haze have been progressing relatively equally. They are small and there is not much to say about them.

Thanks all. They are looking delicious. I am glad I chose to flower them. I really try to make the grow as scientific, and treat each plant identically so we can all have results that can be trusted. I have never grown a plant with a main cola. I have always topped them with the exception of a SOG I did from seed in another life. So I've never had the crazy cola height. I figure, rather than try to restrain a whole foot of growth on the vegging THC Bombs to allow those around them to grow flower ready, I am going to allow the 9 that surround them to go untopped.

I have always heard that topping a plant is equal to the same amount of bud you would have got, had you not topped it. The only difference is uniform bud size and potency. While I have always topped, based on that info, I have always gotten uniform size and potency generally. But, I have never been able to test whether it is less, more, or the same as achieving a Christmas tree main cola plant. I am anxious to compare the different patches for yield between topped and untopped sluts.
