A couple of weeks ago we had enough rain to raise the river enough to warrant going for a cast but I wasn't exactly optimistic, i need the river to rise 3-4ft then fall back 18"/2ft over the week.

For the long term forecast there's still no rain, this is by far the worst season I've had since starting back fishing about 15 years ago.


I fished for about an hour and half but I didn't touch a thing not even a knock from a trout but it was good to get out.
