Lads im looking for a bit of help with shopping for a quiet extraction fan and filter. The tent is only small 60x60 so they need to be small but more so a quiet fan.

Any ideas fellas?

Ye Green Id agree with lu here...too much flushing can be bad..Ive made that mistake in the past...really slows down the growth. Id do as Lu says ad get the bio grow, I think the small bottle is only 8 euro in Nirvana, not to bad considering...Also i cant stress enough " make sure that your soil is REALLY REALLY DRY before next feed.I have even started to when i think they need a watering i wait till the next day. U would be suprised how much moisture gets held in at the bottom.

I'll try lowering the light a bit Jingle and see how I get on. Thinkin of actually getting the place fitting out with mylar, that stuff looks immense for bouncin light all over the place. I currently have reflective bubble wrap around the whole area, it ain't bad, but mylar looks the job.

I'm not gonna water them again now for quite a few days. Because I hadn't used any perlite, the soil is really compact and hold the water too well. What I done tonight was squeeze the pots slightly to loosen the soil a bit without disturbing the roots. I'm a fecking ejit not getting perlite :wall:. I'll get a few pics up next week and hopefully they are the green machines i hope for. Saying that...they are flowering pretty well and getting alot of hairs. Good signs I hope!

Hello Jay pal. I think the girls are short of a bit of N. Was told by Lu to give them a bit of Biogrow with high N with some Big bud and then move onto Iguana boom. Iguana is pretty much like fish mix ain't it?...certainly smells like it :O

Not too sure mate, my plants looked like yours at one stage the guy in the grow shop suggested fish mix and it could be used with the bloom formula if in the flowering stage.
Fish mix can also be used as a foliar feed as can sea weed, these have been proven to help the plants a big way

totally agree, the fish mix has has some good reviews. if you have the cash you could give that a go. only when you are foliar feeding dont get it anywhere near the buds, some say never foliar feed in flower as it wrecks the trichromes. just get it onto individual leaves and then only do it when the plants are going into there night time period. never foliar feed in the light. it will burn juicy holes in your leaves.
jay did you see the pics of the microscope, what do you think.

I think I might give that a go Jay, thanks. Question for both yourself and Lu..

Lu you where saying about foliar feed. I have never really heard of looked into that. I presume this is spraying onto the leaves of the plants??

SPRAYING DIRECTLY ONTO THE LEAVES, normally if your plant needs something quick this is the way to go, such as a ph problem you may then foliar feed. i never do it on seedlings or in flowering unless being very careful. dont go near the buds with any feed.

tonto cant you order online. much cheaper prices depending on what your looking for.
jingle i dont feed bloom until about a week into the 12/12, when is see the first buds i start with a low dose.
jay do you feed epsom salts throughout your grow or just 3rd week into flowering, asked in main forum but they must all be too busy, or more likely they dont like looking silly in front of other growers incase they are wrong. this place is becoming more about how many points you have under your name than helping people. well it is with a lot of the guys on here. thats not everyone but most. its got like that because people are jumping down the throats of people when they try to help someone but they are wrong, silly really.
later guys

I've used Epsom salts and I think it's called nitrate of ammonia.. I only used it in tiny doses when the plants were looking pale.. Not sure if it even helped..

I've used advanced nutrients A @ B bloom and was told to start feeding a week before switching to flower... Seamed to work well... I wonder if every feed is different ?
