OMFG!!!

Well I got the wife to unbox and calibrate my par meter. The plants were only getting 285μmol. Oops .

Guess they were not getting near enough light to support the rest of my set up.

Lowered the light to 24" above the plants and will slowly dial up the intensity over the next couple days.

We did do a test at that height and at 24" with the light turned up to 90% power we were getting 850μmol to 970μmol across the entire grow area.

Pretty sure at full power I will be able to get PPFD around the 1100μmol range.

Wish I had this meter sooner, my plants could have been way further along.

Ripper definitely has some fire. Good luck on the hunt
Yeah I am running their Fuel Og in this grow. I loved it last time I grew it. The zombie kush I have run multiple times. I love the how purple it can get almost black it's so purple.

I also have their washing machine too. I can't get enough of their genetics. Everything is absolute Terp monsters.

I am thinking next grow, since I will be pheno hunting that I might pop 5x washing machine, 5x zombie and 5x kmintz. Do 15 smaller plants and skip this scrog mess I have on my hands now. :wall:

Yes this is the first BCP that I have ever run. The fuel Og, I have run before and I loved it.
I'm doing a huge 7 gal BCP right now. It's the biggest one I have ever seen of the BCP. If you want, I can link you to the pic that I will put up (on the IHG thread) when it comes down.

Absolutely, I would love to see your BCP.

Which breeder is your version? Mine is Pyramid Seeds.

I have really fallen in love with this strain lately. I have been buying it though and I am still impressed with it and for the most part our legal weed generally sucks ass but the BCP seems to be pretty good at the store so I can only imagine how much better it will be once I am done with it.

I just bought the same meter and also discovered that I was underlighting my plants. My older lights were around a foot too high.

Great meter.

And as an experienced grower, I am embarrassed I went this long without one. Everyone talks about which light is best but honestly, you can have the best light in the world but without knowing what it is doing in a grow room, you are wasting the full potential that light offers. And that's my 2 cents.

Experienced but always learning.

Day 28, Veg.

Well I really want to flip these girls but I am thinking I want to get more lower tops into the trellis netting before I flip. Probably gonna keep rocking the veg cycle for another week. So that will put me at day 35 when I flip.

If you look at the Fuel Og, you can see lots of little branches working their way up. It will be a bit of work for the wife keeping the main branches under the netting but my yield should be considerably better if I give them another week.

Here is the Black Cherry Punch, as you can see the canopy hasn't quite fully reached the netting. Another reason to veg another week.

Here is another of the same plants, it shows the colour of the plants better. Honestly they are all dark green, not the Stickley yellow in the previous picture. :D

And it wouldn't be picture night without a couple group shots.

It looks like we're at about the same stage. I'm trying to clear up a little mag deficiency before I flip, so I'm aiming for about a week from now as well.

Well I decided to try something different. Just ordered two California lightworks SolarSystem UVB lights. Gonna see if I can crispy fry some cannabis plants.

I have never used UV of any type before but I have always been intrigued by them. I am always trying to boost oil/terp production and feel that if I ease into them very, very slowly, I should hopefully be able to achieve this without cooking my plants.

If I cook the plants I will be pissed but hey you will never know if you don't try.

Sorry Babe......

So before I built this new grow room I used to grow with dry nutrients and absolutely loved Greenleaf MegaCrop one part nutrients. The wife hated it, she didn't like the smell or the fact she had to mix it with a drill.

She convinced me to go back to liquid ferts. I agreed because she does most of the feeding while I am away at work. But I just can't do it anymore. Tonight I had to buy a couple bottles to replace ones that are getting low. So far I am over $300 for ferts this grow!!!! I could have bought 75lbs of MegaCrop for that price!!! It would have been enough food for the next 5 or 6 years.

I will finish this grow with Green Planet ferts but after that I am done with liquid ferts forever! I am going back to MegaCrop. $120cdn and I will have enought food for the next dozen grows.

Suggestions to buy or stay away from....

Tonight while watering or So guess before watering, my ph pen shit the bed. Been thinking of upgrading to a combo EC/ph meter.

Any suggestions out there for meters to consider or stay away from?

Thinking of this one.

I been using bluelab metcom plus with a leap ph probe. It also has a e.c probe but the leap probe can also be used to probe media, i rarley do that but its nice anyways.

Hannah is quality too i havent used them yet though. Nice grow man.

Thanks for the suggestion, Bluelabs is one of the other meters I am considering.

Also thanks for the kind words about my grow. The last bunch of pics don't do the plants justice. They were just bent and twisted to keep them under the netting and the LED light makes leaves look all wrong. But honestly they are very happy.

Just check out their stomata....

Day 31 Veg (Last Day of Veg)

So things are getting crazy in the grow room. The wife can no longer handle the plants and we are now going to flip to 12/12.

After the lights go out tonight the lights will run from 9am to 9pm. And the CO² is going to be bumped up from 850ppm to 1420ppm....gotta get 420 in there somewhere for good luck.

Time for the exciting part to begin.

In House Genetics. I have done several packs of their BCP over the years. I agree that it is very tasty weed. The only issue is that many of the phenos tend to be a little on the weak side, potency wise. However, there are also strong ones to be found. That's why this strain is so fun to hunt.

I tried to get that breeders BCP but at the time it was sold out everywhere. It is the one I wanted.

As I said I opted for the Pyramid Seeds version. I hope it is good, I have never run any of their seeds before. But who knows maybe it will be amazing.

I definitely want to compare pics of the final product once we are done.
