in lebanese food we eat the innards frequently, and the marrow and the blood. a lot of the time completely raw as well, mmm kibbeh.
but at least none of it has ever been outlawed to my knowledge. except for the felafel but that was for reasons unrelated to the cuisine itself.

yes but our government invented bse as a food weapon that could be contaminated in to the food chain to use against the middle east especially the lebanon to wipe out millions quickly, but somewhere along the line the disease fucked up in the lab and took ages to kill and some stupid bastard contaminated it in to a stretch of land wth grass and a cow ate it and it ended up in the cattle food chain for real.
