It’s an old ass study … but just gives you an idea … the concept has been tested and trialed many years back
What's the point you're trying to make related to cannabis production? It's an interesting study but it's just about old metal halide lamps and the spectrum they put out. Did you grow those blueberry exclusively with the metal halide? I would love to stick a couple MH lamps in my grow room just to see what happens but I am at my limit in terms of heat and power usage. I'm at the point where if I turn everything up to 100% I start kicking breakers. All my lights are set on 80% right now. UV-B definitely has its uses, mostly as pertains to trichome production, but it's dangerous to use. It can cause skin cancer, damage your plants, and fuck up your eyes if you overdo it. UV-B only reaches earth about an hour or two a day when the sky is clear, and depends on where on earth you're located. Higher elevations and equatorial regions get the most UV-B. UV-A is much more common, and safer, so I'm only interested in using that to boost my plant production.

I'm glad we're actually discussing this. I think it's an important piece of the puzzle we've been missing. I brought the subject up on here years ago (I think it was this forum) and was told I was crazy and wrong. That UV and IR were not important, and contributed nothing to cannabis growth. After years of experimentation, I've come to the conclusion that all those things you guys worry about so much like Ph, nutrients and VPD, are minor considerations compared to light intensity and spectrum.

After years of experimentation, I've come to the conclusion that all those things you guys worry about so much like Ph, nutrients and VPD, are minor considerations compared to light intensity and spectrum.
Yes I’d say your environment overall is what really matters

In my experience,light intensity and high temps were the biggest cause of buds losing their density

My grow rooms tend to run on the warm side and never had issues with bud density. I've noticed that hot grow rooms made the plants stretch a lot more. Way back in the day when I first started growing I had a bunch of high-powered blurples and my room was like 102 degrees and my plants were over six feet tall. I was trying to pull them over and keep them out of the lights. You don't get as many pretty colors when the temps are high, either. I'd love to install and air conditioner in my grow room but I just can't spare the power. Fluffy bud seems more genetic to me than anything. Low light and stress seems to cause it too. When I say light intensity I meant more hitting the sweet spot than getting as much light as possible. I keep my par somewhere around 700 or 800. I could go a lot brighter with the lights I have but there is such a thing as too much of a good thing.

Please tell me there is atleast milk in that coffee without sugar or are you one of them phsycos that drink there coffee black with no sugar.
So I've never been to America my trip got cancelled when covid hit. Is your bread really like cake?
To us it’s just bread, but for someone who is binational (UK), yes, for you it would be like cake, it is quite processed and full of sugar.

Good genetics and a powerful light will give you rock hard buds. Rock hard like a golf ball. My friend did a grow of Deluxe slurbet and some of the phenotypes were unbelievable, the buds were literally as hard as a rock. But he had to chuck it all away due to bud rot. I have literally never seen anything like it in my life I couldn't believe how dense the nugs were, it's a shame he had to throw it all away, I'm guessing to run a strain like this you wouldn't want to go any higher than 30% RH come the late flowering stage https://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/in-house-genetics-deluxe-slurbet/prod_6675
