Good info. Thank you for sharing some of your skills! Now in your pro mix do you still keep perlite around 25-30% perlite? I ran Jack's back when it was Peter's Profesional. Is their 20-20-20 blue in color?
Straight outta the bag. Promix HP is well blended with perlite. It works as advertised.

Yeah it's blue. 202020 or blue bloom 103020

Cap Junky 52 days 12/12

Plant #2 I'm hoping these slender buds will fatten up before harvest. They have been slow to fill in.

Much bigger girl here. I'll be growing this again. Got color seeping in already. These should be some nice eye candy in a few weeks.

Got the cjc91 plant #1 flowering clone fitted with a bigger floater screen. A little while longer training things outward. Then I'll release the hold down and reposition the floater for the final time. Off to flower real soon. Hopefully by this weekend.

I know you said you are still testing things, but how long into flower will you train with a typical hybrid?
Roughly 7-10days is where I'm at now. I readjust the screen and throw them in 12/12. Pull under for said days and let them go.

Last grow I split the screen on the Tangie. Trained down a week on one half and two weeks on the other. Got a taller deeper canopy in the back. Exactly what I was looking for.

So I replicated it with the Cap Junky plant #3. She's responded like a champ. She got big but not outta control.

I've not tried this on a leggy long flower sativa girl yet. Tweak out the training time and screen size and it would do great. Them girls take up a lot of space n time though.

Awesome thanks for the reply, I'm going to try something similar with a multi strain grow in a 3x3. Hopefully with different tucking times post flip I can keep a nice even canopy.

Cap Junky...44days 12/12 plant #1

Floater screen kept her pretty spread out and supported. Lots of nice colas have developed and the frost is ridiculous..lol
IMG_20241122_194331200.jpgIMG_20241122_194255398.jpg
Seem to be getting some color seeping in on the leaf underside. Gonna be a pretty fade soon I'd imagine.
IMG_20241122_193934342~2.jpg
The buds seem to be filling in nicely. I don't expect large bud from this strain. More slender spear type buds on this but should be very powerful in potency.

Cruising right along with this SFV OGbx3 girl. Nice buds forming all over. Many making a carpet of buds below the ones protruding upwards. It filled in better and much more than expected.

She producing some huge calyxes which are making many popcorn type buds. They seem to be stacking up nicely. Thick and hard.

Cap Junky Chem91 plant #1.... Started flower a few days ago. This plant produced some really nice tops shelf bud last run. I flipped her early into flower last time from seed. With this clone ill get a fully mature plant from the beginning so I expect a better plant.

Just slide this girl right in there with the big girls a few days ago. I'll continue training her under till day ten.

I've got a lot going on at the moment between flowering and vegging plants. Plus a few autos thrown in the mix as well. Trying to get things prepped for the after Xmas grow.

Got 4 regular plants up @15 days old. Started some bending.
2 Trainwreck, 2 ForgetMeNots

I'll train them and coax some branching out and take a cut soon to identify sex.
IMG_20241128_164259593_HDR.jpg

More clones to add to the mix somewhere down the road. Regular and flowering clones.
IMG_20241128_164415419_HDR.jpg

2 Cap Junky plant #2 are vegging out nicely. With the early training done I need these to gain about 4-6" before they are ready for a big floater screen.
IMG_20241129_115108811.jpg

Bag of Oranges....responding well to bending so far. Growing well.
IMG_20241129_115115818.jpg

GreenCrack MangoHp.....one with a training floater and the other still in veg. Both are flowering clones.
IMG_20241129_113017734.jpgIMG_20241129_115057273.jpg
Strawberry Banana....slow vegging girl and bushy. I'm hoping a few weeks and I can flower this.

Looks like the air layering I tried has worked. Just a little over a week from harvest on this CJ plant #3. I'll have to do this more often. Used a starter plug with a cut open zip lock. I should end up with a nice rooted clone after harvest. I'm keeping this strain and the cjc91. I'll just keep rolling them over.....
IMG_20241130_184054300_HDR.jpg
I can see this being my go to for flowering clones. Zero in on the branches I want and load up some air layer pods.
IMG_20241201_170142865_HDR.jpg
Another option is to turn a large vegging plant into 4 or 5 smaller plants. Within a short time one could double the plant count if needed.

This process took about two weeks to see roots. I'm stoked to have this option available.

Cap Junky....9wks 12/12

Both are getting there but still need a little time. I see tons of milky triches with a small amount of ambers so another week or two maybe.

Plant #3 has gotten rather large in the floater screen. The center of the screen has developed well and the taller growth is all on the perimeter. Exactly how I want these floaters to work. Deep semi even canopy with full exposure.
IMG_20241201_170858261.jpgIMG_20241201_170717949~2.jpg

Plant #2 Slightly different than the others but looking deadly none the less. Frost is very packed in the buds. These buds grow kinda weird. Fatter towards the bottom with a smaller cola on top. I'm okay with that. These should be powerful potent but not a big yielding plant. This girl stayed pretty short n compact.

Good to hear. That lake effect snow seems unforgiving this year. Gotta ask. Did your favorite college team win ths weekend?

Couldn't ask for a better plant. Easy grow and beautiful big solid buds. Not a big frosty girl but very pretty.
