The Tea Party Downgrade

My dad is 66 and he can still bench 250 and dead lift 475, he also looks like a mid 50s viking.
Oh yeah? Well my dad is 89 and he weighs about 475 and can probably lift 50 pounds. His chain smoking would probably kill your dad. He looks like a mid 100's fat man.

But back on subject.
If the degradation of the U.S credit rating was due to the Tea Party involvement in the Debit crisis, why is it that the S & P explanation for the downgrade was (and I quote).

"“the fiscal consolidation plan that Congress and the administration agreed to this week falls short of the amount that we believe it necessary to stabilize the general government debt burden by the middle of the decade.” In other words – the debt ceiling compromise didn’t go far enough."

I've been a libertarian for over 25 years. Yep, you schooled me, not!
Then either you know I am correct or you are attempting to convince yourself of a non truth... orrrrrr you are the Libertarian who sits at home and does not know his neighbor, builds his underground bunker.... or your a book Libertarian who has no clue what is up.

:wall: PS: I love this sh*t.

Communism = Great on paper till you add humans

*Libertarian = great on paper till you add humans
* disclaimer: I am not talking about personal freedoms that affect nobody but yourself. I am talking about 99% deregulation in economics that will cause severe issues.

there is a huge difference between living alone and doing whatever the f*ck you want and living in a civilized community. Unless of course you like old west justice where not only the criminals were taken care of but average citizens guilty of nothing but pissing somebody off were and are taken out... and that my friend is borderline Libertarian and Anarchy..

"the fiscal consolidation plan that Congress and the administration..."
Right there....Congress and this administration. Congress....not Tea Party....Congress. There are those who will construe that to mean that certain members of Congress that are Tea Party members (whatever the hell that ambiguity means) were the ones' responsible for the obstruction(s).

And here's one to throw out there. These so called "Tea Party" members, or "Teabaggers" that many here like to throw around...Were they not elected by their constituents on the platform of curtailing spending? Did they not win their seat(s) running on that platform? And if so, were they not fulfilling their obligation(s) to their constituency?

more typical bs from the fools in Congress. Trying to put the blame on everyone but themselves. They told the lemmings the sky would fall if the debt was not increased and once again without any research they fell for it.

The very same economic clowns who told us the Housing Bill was good. The very same ones who told us housing was strong in 2008. The very same ones who said the bailouts would work. Why listen to them, they don't have a good track record do they?

Quit following the losers with failed policies.

There you go again, confusing an emotional discourse with those pesky facts.

Of course they were, what the Libs can't comprehend and won't tolerate is a conservative that won't throw his obligations under the bus for political expediency. They have no idea what to do with that kind of person. They are used to RINOs that buckle because the MSM insults them until they do. Like I've said, those days are over. Your bullshit tactics aren't going to work any more, better go get a new game plan while you're out of power for the next 8 years.

Do not forget the pesky facts of how the tea party transformed into the tea baggers . The Koch brothers have turned those elected from doing what their constituents wanted to doing what the Koch brothers have bribed them to do. ooOOOps, I meant donated to their cause speech(money) donated by people (corporations)

Back for more later, time to go drive for a couple of hours. Happy trails.

Yeah, funny how the Tea Party is saying the EXACT same things they were saying at the beginning. Message hasn't changed AT ALL. Don't know who the Koch brothers are, I guessing 98% of the TP members don't know who they are either. My inlaws are TP members and I don't think they got any of that money, but they still feel the same as they always have...hmmm, strange.

I'm willing to bet that the money they've donated PALES in comparison to the money that Soros has spent. $35 million spent by the Unions in Wisconsin and they still lost. The Tea Party is only known as the Tea Baggers by liberal lemmings that can't understand why their ideals are being soundly rejected.

"But I don't want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking. I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess. I don't mind cleaning up after them, but don't do a lot of talking." So all you libs need to shut up, sit down and let the Conservatives clean up the Progressive mess.

Londonfog, maybe your are in a fog from all the smoke of your city burning down. Why? Because the ponzi scheme of European socialism is collapsing, and the entitled masses living off the sweat of the working class are now just looting what they want rather than waiting for the government to give it to them. You can deny it until the smoke you smell is your own home on fire as the welfare mobs come to take away everything you own too.

I had to look up the infamous "Koch Brothers" - and you're right these fuckers are downright evil.
"Koch, who, at the age of seventy, has become one of the city’s most prominent philanthropists. In 2008, he donated a hundred million dollars to modernize Lincoln Center’s New York State Theatre building, which now bears his name. He has given twenty million to the American Museum of Natural History, whose dinosaur wing is named for him. This spring, after noticing the decrepit state of the fountains outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Koch pledged at least ten million dollars for their renovation. He is a trustee of the museum, perhaps the most coveted social prize in the city, and serves on the board of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where, after he donated more than forty million dollars, an endowed chair and a research center were named for him."

i'd hire a mexican to do it for me. ;)

the guilt is killin' me.

my above post was a lie, an attempt at humor. i wouldn't really hire a mexican to split my wood. we actually order our PRESPLIT firewood from craigslist dude. we go thru 3 cords a year. we make a phone call, dude sets a time, then shows up. he backs down our driveway in a stake bed dump truck and dumps the wood next to the stacking area.

from that point we can pay HIS mexican or stack it ourselves. my wife and i stack it, with a little help from our son. we use it as family bonding time. usually takes a couple early evenings to get it done, but it's good family fun.

it's kinda nice having money to spend. ;)

i couldn't run to the end of the block, but i can ride my seadoo all day at full throttle. got my priorities all mixed up, i guess.

Sarcasm noted on their "evilness" lol
Thank you so very much, this is a prime example of when I mention under informed or misinformed. Please dig a little deeper into the Koch brothers so you can tout their halos.
