So a little update.
I added the 75 ml of oxygen booster. Changed res, added hygrozyme and ph has jumped up dramatically
Day 1 after res change 5.9 to 6.2
Day 2. 5.9 to 6.4
Day 3 5.9 to 6.2
I know when I add RO water back to the rez I should add 5 ml of calmag but should i be adding hydrozyme or 3% hydrogen peroxide?
Also the ppms dropped a good amount the first day but gradually stopped. Today it was slightly more than yesterday at around 740. Should I be concerned with this or just be happy with the rise in ph? And do you suggest maintaining the rez at the 740ppm level or allow it to drop down when I add RO water.

Great, I see the fix working out well!
I didn't tell you about the add back or the 33% rule did I?
You run like this.
Make up your res with 100% feed solution.
Now when you add back, you add back a 33% solution.
Example:
Make a gallon of 100% and add 2 gallons of ph,ed water = 33% solution.
Top off res with 33% solution!
When you reach the amount of add back that would equal the amount you STARTED with to fill the res.
Dump it and refill with freash 100% and start the process over with the 33%.
100% = All the things you start with to make the first res fill.

Also just so I'm clear. The root root locked calcium out which is caused too much calcium in the water and caused a mag defiency right? Because everything happened on the older leaves which indicates mag deficiency. Is this correct?

So by being at a ph of 5.5-5.7 and never allowing it to swing over 6.0 locked it? It's crazy cuz I've read journals and threads stating they only let their ph swing from 5.5 to 5.8 then drop it back to 5.5 in hydro

Yes by staying low....and your root problem...
I'll tell you what.....5.5 is too low for me.......I always kept mine at 5.8 to 6.2......I only ever had lowering pH when I had root problems or root aphids - "root problems".....This was my "sweet" zone. That means I got the best results at that pH zone........
pH problems in hydro are worse for being low then high as far as how fast/intense the problem got......You've seen that now too..

And as far as the ppms rising. Should I be worried about that and try to combat that with a lower ppm or just watch ph rise and know that nutrients are being uptaked.

Rising is normal - adjust back down as needed to remain within the parameter! As long as they rise = have no worries!

So I finally hooked up the big air pump to the four dwc plant I have and within 24hr I started seeing the ph rise from 5.9 to 6.6 and the avg rose from 5.9 to 6.3 so I really wanted to say thanks. Never new the more air the better. I'm hoping I can increase the ppms now with more air. I'm avging around 500 in first two weeks of flower which is really low from what I've seen from people's thread and journals.

Can you use the flush method you gave me on dwc plants? I have one plant that is slowly turning brown roots and ph is drifting backwards if though the water is 17.6c
I just don't know if running the bubbler for 24 hrs on the h202 flush would do more harm than good.

Yes and after the treatment, run a bubbler 247 in DWC.
Well sad to say but the problem is striking again on four plants in individual dwc buckets. I've had the ph of two drift backwards slowly. I've flushed for 24hrs like you said for this ebb and flow system. It has to be something with the environment I'm guessing since one tent can show great signs in veg and when I switch over to the other tent for flowering all things go to hell at week 3 which is where I'm about at with these 4 dwc plants. I'm not saying you diagnosis was wrong but I think they're might be some other factors since it's happening again.
I'm gonna start a thread with details in the coming days. Man this is frustrating.

water temps! clean them again Wash your roots off with a hose. Are they limey?
