Threads that go against the basic principal of being a decent human being.

Should threads on dangerous chemicals that can lead to death be allowed.

Ignoring the kids isn't going to help them. It's best to mock them until they see what a lame idea they had.

There was a kid last week that said he smoked prozac, he took a ration of shit for saying it too. I don't think he's been back. (I don't know what his age was but he said something like "me and my friends all had 55 dollars put together" and that's not something an adult would say)

It's best to peer pressure them back out of stupid ideas.

show me exactly where we are allowing 15 years old kids to join. i take offense from that statement. you are assuming and making the site look bad. show me. if someone says they are 15 and it gets reported they are gone. if i see them say they are 15, they are gone. if you see them say they are 15 and you don't report it then you are allowing it. so where are all these kids? got a link? or are you just generalizing?



and the attitude "guarantees" their shipments so you can stop telling everyone to eat their losses.

But it's our duty to report any threads in which we know there is a minor.If they don't come right out and say it, we have no choice but to treat them as any other adult on this site.

I agree, we will still get children who aren't dumb enough to state their ages.But we're not the internet cops.Pan, I respect you and think you're a very smart guy...how many kids do you think have looked at your wiring thread and learned something to help them grow?Isn't wiring technically dangerous?Even if we were to take down such threads, there are a million other web pages that they can get info from.Why should we have to censor ourselves to protect children who shouldn't be here in the first place?

And you are right, I don't think the report button works.But since we know for sure Chiceh and fdd are active mods, if we see a thread with a minor in it, we can send them a short pm with a link to the thread and explain the problem.I've done it plenty.They've always seemed happy that they were given a heads up.They can't be everywhere.

I'm not saying we shouldn't care about these kids, but honestly, what can we do?They WILL do it if they want, make no bones about it.At least if they read about the substance,and experiences with said substance,and dosages, etc, of said substance, they will have the tools to at least be doing it in a safer manner than if we had ignored their questions and they decided to just eat it and see what happens.

Never told anybody to eat their loss,i do tell people to quit screaming about it in the forums,many of which end up posting later on that they got their seeds after starting another seedbank panic,way to hijack the thread there :clap:

And yes obviously im generalizing about youngins & nobody ever said you allowed teenyboppers on this site,i think your turning this more into a thread about moderators allowing a known child on the site than what its was about to start with,which is the teenage element that cant be stopped from getting hold of dangerous info that could kill them from this site.

It dont take a long stretch of ones imagination to know that a person who starts a thread titled "my highschool" is a child,one dont have to search too deep to understand that a member who posts in a thread that the parents are not home so he drank 2 bottles of robbitussin is a child as well,or the members who post they stole their mothers valium or prozak & are currently wasted,yes i understand that unless they say they are under 18 that nobody can ban them but it is there, is it not ?

Same goes for the "stealth" threads,are we expected to believe that every last steatlh grower who readily admits he is hiding his grow from his parents is 18 & living at home ? c'mon:roll:, your moderator duties may not allow you to act on these threads because nobody admitted they were underage but nobody can deny that there are very clear "unproven" indicators that there is a large underage element on this site.

I think you've taken offense at this whole thing as a direct attack on the mods when there should be none,this was never about you or any other mod,it is & allways about admitting that we know there is a large underground group of children here & not allowing them to post or recieve information that could kill them from these forums.

I would think a thread with the words "my high school" in its title would make this site look worse to any new visitor than this thread or any discussion within this thread but thats only my thought,how do you feel about a thread with these words in the title ?

Taking a quick look at the poll results shows that i am not alone in thinking children should not be allowed this info, or if allowed under heavy moderation.

When a member says in his post that he bought some weed on the school bus,or stole his mothers pills,or an entire thread dedicated to the drug searches at his school,or comes into a thread cussing that his mother killed his weed plants,or a thread where the parent was administering a drug test in 15 minutes so please help tell me how to pass the test,or that a parent searched their room while they were at school & found their stash,or that they need help in blocking the light or in hiding the smell from parents eyes when mom's comes in to get the laundry,or that 10 friends put all their money together & bought an 1/8 sack & got stoned,or somebody wanting to know if they got ripped off on a $20 sack that weighs 1.5 grams ect ect ect..........the list is long.

IMO only a person who intentionally turns a blind eye can deny that these type members who post these type threads are clearly children,even though they dont come right out & say it the evidence is in their words.All the examples i gave happen on a daily basis in every forum here & are not isolated instances.

Of the thread in question about the lousy Jimson weed one of the supporters of that threads right to be online is clearly a child,it requires the reading of all his other posts to see this but it is there.

This has never been about any mod,every mod on this site has responded to & banned children who ive reported,including fdd who to me seems to be taking offense as a personal attack against him :confused:

Everything you are saying is true,kids will do what they want but that does not mean adults should turn a blind eye to their presence,we all know they are here,this is not meant as an insult to anybody but no member who has been active on this site can deny that there is obviously a large underage & under ground presence on this site.

These are the members who have an interest in robitussin & other drugs they can score for free,not adults.

Using your words & other adult members words saying "they will do what they want" is exactly what my thoughts are,they will not listen to the people who tell them the truth or chastise them,they will listen to the one fool who says he got away with taking the drug & had a hella time.

I still fail to see one thing that this site will loose from banning these threads or allowing them but only under heavy moderation.

Im not the only one who see's this as a problem either,the poll results show that other members think there is a problem as well,the votes saying that the topics should be allowed are clearly in the miniority.
 
Dude, chill a bit, please, nobody condones underaged people being on this site. Kids go and do things they aren't supposed to do because they're kids. It's what they do. Yes they come to this site and pretend to be older and post stuff. Yes they drink alcohol, yes they smoke weed.......... Do you remember being a teenager? What did you do that you shouldn't have been doing?

The best we can do is report them and the mods do the best they can do by banning them.
