I have already stated, to you, that I will not be able to grow enough to keep a steady supply. And if I can, I will be constantly rotating plants. I dont feel as though I should have to do this. I like my 24 site in my 6x8 room. I dont feel as though I should have to reconstruct my room and buy a new system to appease you Keenly2. You have stated several times that your issue right now is that everyone should be able to use for recreational use because you dont want to spend 200 bucks.

For me I dont have anything to work around right now. I am perfectly happy with my limits and my grow area.
It seems as though I, and a butt load of other growers and heavy smokers, will be working around the new guidelines and rules for the general population. The very same general population that can have more privileges by abiding to the laws already in place - without loosing additional privileges.

hell i grow in an area less then that and i do fine
i could grow 4 plants in that area and lst the shit out of them and have plenty of smoke to last me untell next harvest
doing ony 2 or 3 a year
yeah, i may have to buy a little , but thats just going to make me improve my growing skills

Homeowners insurance covers that, not to mention it could be the mailman, your friend or the deliver guy who hurts themselves on your property.
Insurance doesnt just cover you if you burn your house down, we buy it for many reasons.
Again, you seem to be so well versed with law and it's applications please refer back to the trespassing and theft chapters..... C'mon guy you are arguing a point clearly from a point of view that implies you deal to or are a minor. Why else would you keep bringing up the law for minors otherwise?

Ok. Once again as I said on the other thread,I don't give shit to minors. Not sure how to explain better. Like homey said,it doesn't matter if you have kids or not. Do you really wanna see a bunch of em locked up for doin the same thing we did? Do you as a taxpayer really wanna pay taxes on weed or otherwise just so they can use it to fuck with people? Don't forget,some of the MINORS I speak of are 18 to 20. Sorry but I feel if you go to war to fight for our country,that you should be man or woman enough to sit and smoke with any of us. And as far as people dyin,people die EVERY FUCKIN DAY for drugs. Some right here where I live. So it stands to reason that if you increase the value of marijuanna,than why won't they kill more for it like any other drug? $1,000,000 starts and ends with the same numbers,what gets you there is the only difference.

The law is the law, what is the difference between someone robbing you at an ATM or breaking into or encroaching upon your dwelling (Where people should feel the safest).... Should the ATM robber go to jail and not the pesron stealing your other personal property?
The value itself of MJ will not increase due to the rules of risk, supply and demand.... In fact the price will drop, taxation of a currently untaxed product will increase because there will be tax instead of it remaining untaxed. I would rather be legal and be taxed than go to jail for a harmless crime.
I kinda thought everyone would share at least that perspective. Apparently I am wrong.

It's not gonna get cheaper homeboy. It is gonna get more expensive. Why would it get cheaper? The legal shit won't get cheaper. First thing the Gov. is gonna get there hands on it. That means it costs more. Look at taxes on cigarettes and alcohol. They raise em all the time. A good $35 eighth will have to go up at least a little. And dollar signs go with risk. Would cocaine cost some fool $50 a gram if it was more available and not so much risk? No,it would be less. When this law goes through it will add risk to it,and therefore the price will go up.

Than they will take all your tax money that you were so happy to vote for,and use it to fight crime and run task forces to fight the very thing you love. Look at the lotterythey said it was for money for schools but really only one penny out of every dollar ever see's a school. Our Gov. always has a hustle,it only takes forever for these bills to get out because it takes them that long to hide all the bs that most don't even know they are voting on.

I have different feelings than you, obviously with my previous posts. But your last line is one of the reasons why I wanted to start this thread. I am debating with myself to create a spreadsheet or something to track all the sides of the argument. Ultimately I think if someone did we would be able to peacefully resolve most our disagreements - tackle one thing at a time until an appropriate resolution is agreed upon. Could send it to Arnold then - see what he says.
We should be able to have MJ legal for rec use on the proper terms. I see no reason why we should have to loose most the clubs and settle on reduced limits.

man i have to tell you that im not from a med state, but i still do not understand why not vote yes. let get our foot in the door and then fight to change what we dont like. you can still grow what you want with out changing anything. just vote yes and do it anyways. most of you med state grower where growing waaaaaay before it became a legal med state and now you guys are holding us back. i hear a lot of old head thats BEEN growing talking that lets vote no b.s.- you guys really confuse me, but then again i dont know the pleasure of a legal med grow. but then again i would prolly not go med legal if i could (i like to stay off the book, because of who i am related too)

or lets say my 5x5 grow area had no ceiling (i have a buddy who's first floor living room has no ceiling. and the second floor has a balcony that over looks the first floor living room) could i grow all the way up to the next level as long as i'm within my 5x5 grow area is in my living room

build a 5x5 room that has a 12ft ceiling
cut the room in half "horizantal"
on the top half grow 12plants in a flood and drain system under a 1k air cooled light
on the bottom the same thing 12plants and in a flood and drain under a 1k cooled lights
and if hydro anit your thing do soil in 3liter bottles 12/12 form seed (fem seeds) on both levels
running the light off set from each other
the plants should stay well under 3ft
the 3liter bottle are 1ft
leaveing 2ft a head room for the 1k air cooled lights (thats if the 12/12 for seed, fem seeds grow the whole 3ft)
pump in hella co2 get about 1ounce per plant if not more
lst and sog both levels

The new law states you can have 25 square feet - not two levels of 25 square feet - that would be 50 square feet of canopy. My concern is that CA did not do a good job of establishing rules, laws, or guidelines before they passed prop 215. Because they did not figure out these essential issues that make a law, a law - a lot of BS has happened - a lot of people has still been arrested.
I do hydro, I have a 24 site areoponics - $700 new. I would have to cut it in half or buy a new set up to appease these laws. I am not going to start breaking laws intentionally now - I went and got my card to be legit - I take steps to avoid an interruption in my life. Even removed a bunch of led from the bottom of my shoes - only the right one - no idea how it got there - from pair to pair all these years...

I'm one of the few who would go slow on straight up legalization. My reasoning is that a sudden change like that is getting ahead of the views of the majority of Americans, and invites a backlash. If CA says it wants to legalize now, then they will end up with the wrath of the mainstream media, and eventually the feds. I can just imagine the media field day when some fool 14 y.o. gets a hold of 'legal' pot and paralyses himself crashing a car or some shit.
The path of least resistance seems to be that states are choosing medical mj, localities are decriminalizing, and the feds are becoming more tolerant. Over time, growing will become acceptable to Joe Blow America.

but a 14 yo cant get ahold to "legal" pot because that woud be illegal he can only abtain legal pot threw illegal means- and even then, in the said law it is illegal for him to do so
just like they now do with cars alcohol perscription drugs guns
these product are legal and 14 y o kill themselves every day
and that same 14yo that you spoke of earlyer can still your now legal "med" pot- which has happened-

Actually it does make sense. You know how the media can throw things into frenzy. Punishment for the kid would no longer be relevent. All the media would have to do is throw out a story of"Would this kid have been able to get it if it wasn't legal?" And of course he would,but that won't matter. And a new set of soccer moms would be out picketing. You have to understand the mob. I'm not saying it would happen,just sayin his point makes sense.
