After the letdown of a trump indictment many will need some comfort and they can watch this video for therapy. Adding some incense will help set the mood for a relaxing therapy session.

Wow.

Do you actually think that Biden want the airwaves dominated 24/7 by a trump trial in NY? That's the last thing he wants. Biden wants trump in the game because he can beat trump in 2024. He could very well lose to a ron desantis. If trump is too occupied with a trial he won't be able to devote all of his time to winning the GOP primary leaving the door open for a challenger to win that Biden could lose to.

Some of you have been going on about trump being locked up for at least 2 years. Tomorrow! No next Week, month year. Now it's tomorrow again. Well we're still waiting. It's like when I was growing up a Jehovah's Witness. Armageddon was always coming. That was back in the 70's so it's been 5 decades. I'm still waiting for Armageddon.

If I'm wrong and trump does happen to be indicted I'll be happy but I just don't see it happening anytime soon.
I don't think Biden cares one way or the other if Trump is on trial and that's a good thing. I've been listening to and reading what political experts say about the matter of a trial in NY in terms of how it will affect Trump's political prospects. They say pressing charges on Trump will help him a little bit with the Republican base and might hurt him with the general population. I've also seen analysts take completely opposite views on whether or not Trump can win the nomination too. It's all up in the air and speculation right now. In any case, Biden shouldn't pay any attention to Trump's legal problems and instead should focus on doing his job. He will win if he can convince voters that he will be good for their security and pocketbook. He should just do his job and let us decide if it was enough. Republicans keep tripping all on their own. Never interfere when an enemy is making a mistake.

Neither of us knows what will happen during the NY trial. I think indictment seems to be inevitable now. I don't know if the DA will win in court. If Trump is found guilty, I don't know what the typical sentence is for that kind of crime. It could be that even if he's found guilty, the sentence will not include detention. I do think that the cases in GA (interference with the election) and in Washington (the documents case and conspiracy to commit insurrection) are worse but like you I don't see enough urgency in pressing charges to expect it to happen any time soon. That said, maybe it's good thing to force Republican hands and let them do all their legal maneuvering to protect Trump over a lesser case.

Why get so excited about other people forming a different opinion? DIY sometimes annoys with his histrionic posts but he's entitled to say what he likes, same as you and me. But I think we all basically want the same things for this country. Unlike MAGA GOP-types.

I was growing and smoking weed before many of these "Political Experts" were walking. I've been following politics since the early 80's. Most these days are just hacks that get by on popularity and likes. None come close to being a Tim Russert. Most know less than I regarding political history.

You guys can continue to disagree with me but if we were keeping score I'd be winning.

Aren’t you the guy who just posted a “Justice Matters” clip showing how far lawmakers are going to protect trump. They are breaking the law and acting against the constitution they swore to protect. This video you posted has Glenn asking the question; “do you think they will stop there?” Now you’re talking about letting the entertainment begin.

I know you’re back to smoking pot but did you give up on Buddhism?

I think it’s time for some meditation.

I see justice being done and I approve. I don't agree with Glenn on everything and think it beneficial for Donald to run around lose for a spell leading up to the election. It is keeping the republicans from power that is the main point here, the law will deal with Donald. The democrats need at least one election cycle with a clear majority to enact necessary changes or the show will continue. Even fox news is on the ropes and removing that shit stain from American society looks entirely possible. If they do, the GOP are completely dependent on the culture wars and foxnews is culture war central.

We are just spectators in all this drama, so grab popcorn and enjoy the show while we sweat the outcome. I feel a lot more optimistic than I did while the asshole was in power and figured we were lucky to get away without nukes being used, if only on a hurricane.

Why are you posting this stuff as if it's facts? The star witness goes on a far left media outlet and that's some kind of victory lap? Talk about tainting a potential jury pool. That's all that's happening. None of this stuff is going to help convict trump.

They have you all whipped up into another frenzy and after all the previous ones you can't see what's going on? How many times do you play this game?
I'm watching in amusement the circus has just begun.

I see no benefit in having a former President of the United States arrested and cuffed going to jail. Regardless of what some think is justice the image on the world stage is just a spectacle this country doesn't need. It would undermine the credibility of our soldiers abroad.

How can we be the center of Democracy when we're sending a former President to jail for corruption?

For the sake of the reputation of The United States of America the country needs to move on.

This is not the time for this crap. Xi meeting with Putin. Putin visiting occupied land in Ukraine. People in America focused on trump being indicted for a misdemeanor in NY.

People need to get back on track. There are bigger threats.

Wasting time worrying about some trump indictment while much more important things are going on.

The distraction campaign worked. Can't you see you're being force fed?

I gave up on Buddhism long ago, in fact I never believed it, but know how it works and I taught mindfulness for years and still practice, but not as much. Mindfulness is science based and there is a reason morals and ethics are important in practice, whether mindfulness or Buddhism. If you want to know what I believe, read Robert Wright's, Why Buddhism is true, and a bit on human social evolutionary history.

I apprehend the danger and look on the struggle south of the border and in Ukraine as part of a bigger struggle, one we have with our nature.

U.S. takes politician indictments in stride; Trump case should be no different: Maddow

3,974 views Mar 21, 2023 #msnbc #trump #maddow
Rachel Maddow reviews how regularly politicians at all levels of government in the United States are indicted without the overall system of government and the lives of Americans suffering any particular disruption, and argues that a potential indictment of Donald Trump should be no different.

That's how control works.

Most people fit into blocks in an array. Each block can be manipulated and triggered with specific prompts. People don't even realize that they're being influenced in their decision making process.

Some don't fit in any of those blocks. I'm one of them. That's why everyone hates me. I find holes in everyone's arguments. I'm not part of this far right / far left war people have going on.

so by this logic Joe and Hunter Biden should be immune from prosecution....equal protection under the law kind of thing....we wouldn't want to damage the reputation of the USA. Time to move on from Hunters laptop....
