Back to the thread topic, Iran is learning that America does not keep the promises it makes in treaties- this is a long standing habit, going back to those made with native Americans.
China realizes that it's the target du jour of tariffs- not undeserved frankly, as they've had things well in their favor for decades.
Russia is under sanctions from the West for doing the same thing the West has been doing to them for decades.
These three Nations are in the midst of creating their own trade bloc for mutual benefit, one which will increasingly be tempting for other nations to become involved with, from South Asia to Africa and even South America.
America's blatantly imperialistic colonialist behavior has driven them into such a strategy, one they might not have contemplated had the West treated them with more respect.
They'll peel off other Nations fed up with being abused at the hands of the Western Powers, from Venezuela to Pakistan to North Korea and several African Nations.
Maybe instead of funding our (offensive) defense department, perhaps we should be ramping up our diplomatic efforts and engaging them in trade and commerce for mutual gain.
The fact that we aren't tells me just how shortsighted and greedy America's oligarchs have become.
