No, it`s a 30 cal.(brush model) I know of bolt 357, but not lever.
Oh nice. That's a good caliber for a lever action I think. And I love the way lever actions shoot. I just don't like the fact they generally only hold 6 rounds.

Yea, the Winchester models are really nice. I'm going with a Henry because it comes with hand scrolling, and it looks amazing.

Yes they hold 5 or 6 but you can top off at will. You just reach in your pocket and slide rounds in between checking fire. It`ll never run out.

That expensive wood stock stuff I can`t afford.

More to the point, why does the Republican party let them?
I would guess the same reason Obama accepted nearly a billion from a real life Nazi and Hillary is taking nearly 50 million so far from the same Nazi.

stuffing Jews in ovens= A OK for democratic candidates,a few dozen toothless metheads on food stamps n sharing the same wife dressed up in bed sheets = bad for republicans lol

see any irony here ?

I suppose you're right. I'm so used to releasing 30 round magazines and slamming in another and keep going.
Lever actions require a lighter hand and a steadier shot, a slower pace.

I'm actually getting a really good deal on the Henry, a little under $700. Normally $1200+

But I admit, Winchesters are just as good a shot and at around $500 or so.

There are few who can fire an automatic Military 30 caliber from 1906 for any prolonged period of time. That`s why automatic high calibers are mounted/fixed. The M-16/ 30/06 and M-1 Garand fail on the battlefield not because of firepower, but endurance.

I am not built well enough to fire those weapons for prolonged time.

For me, the AK is far more wild and has much more recoil than its cousin AR.

I couldn't imagine rattling off 30 rounds in an automatic AK. Mainly because of the recoil but partially because of its utter inaccuracy. Eww!

But I have a LL installed on a registered lower shooting 308 just fine. I can get through 30 rounds pretty quickly with a fair amount of accuracy.

Nevertheless, I don't put lever action single shot rifles in the same realm as full auto 'assault' rifles.

But when the 7.62 DOES hit something, it's truely a thing of beauty.
