Vaccinated stay contagious longer than Unvaccinated

No. It's because they estimate that about 95% of the population has either had the shot or the disease or both so we have reached the herd immunity they were after and those measures are no longer needed.

If everyone had of got the vaccine right as soon as it was available we could have been here a year and half a million saved lives ago but it is what it is.

The jab was never designed to prevent infection and transmission, it was designed to reduce the clinical symptoms associated with covid-19. Because of that, it doesn't contribute to "herd immunity".

It's lead to herd immunity in the sense that hospitalizations and deaths have been greatly reduce plus transmission and infection have also dropped precipitously.

The unvaxxed are still dying more than vaxxed by a lot so the protests are getting smaller and quieter all the time. Lot less republicans than there used to be too. Even tRump got his shots FFS. lol

You and your ilk are a dying breed. Almost like taking all the warning stickers off of dangerous equipment and letting Darwin have his way. ;)

At my place of work, it's the opposite. Many vaccinated people getting sick, but no cases among the unvaccinated. I'm not a Trumper btw.

Then your place of work is an aberation. I've followed the stats on the effects of these vaccines since Covid started because I wasn't getting no damn jab either. I've never had a flu shot and don't recall ever having the flu in the last 20 years so I played the odds there and won.

It was a good 8 months after the vaccine appeared before we got it up here in north Bumfuck, Alberta so I had plenty of time to research it and follow the daily reports about how many in the ICU that were vaxxed or not and the same stats with how many of either died. It was mainly the unvaxxed plugging up the hospitals and ICUs and also making the funeral homes rich.

I also delved deeply into the risks and benefits of it much like a doctor does when deciding on a course of treatment for a patient. All medications including vaccines carry some level of risk via side effects. Sometimes side effects are desired like the feeling you get when you take a hit of your medicine. :) I end up seeing these medical commercials on TV because I watch a few US stations and pay close attention to the list of side effects. Take this to clear your skin but be careful because it can kill you. Or keep your blood sugar level easier but watch out for that nasty pancreatic cancer.

These new vaxs have lower levels of serious side effects than almost any vaccine ever made. Everyone's body is different as to how it reacts to a medicine as evidenced by how the pot that rocks your world might leave your buddy cold. Out of the millions that get the shot there's bound to be some that have a certain body chemistry, DNA quirk or any number of other variables that can cause an adverse reaction from something mild to even fatality. The odds of that with the vax are so much smaller than the odds of serious harm and death from the disease it was designed to protect you from that the benefit side of the equation wins hands down.

How the disease progresses concerned me. Serious respiratory illness is not good news for someone who's smoked a pack a day for over 50 years and has mild COPD. But then it was determined that smokers were less likely to become infected in the first place so pretty even there. :D A fairly high percentage who get infected get blood clots and lots of them sometimes. I had a small stroke about 8 years ago and a CAT scan showed that I'd had 4 or 5 previous ones that went unnoticed by me. The last one just happened to numb out the right side of my face while I wash brushing my teeth before bed one sober Sat night. Was f'n weird and left me with serious brain fog, fatique and feeling like I was getting dementia like my birth mother did at 65. I'm 68 in Oct and the head has cleared up a lot especially after I microdosed 'shrooms on and off for 6 months then lost the desire to drink and haven't touched a drop since end of May /21. Brain is healing all the time now.

I figured the risks were much higher without the shot so I got mine when they showed up. The wife didn't at first but got hers a couple months later. I didn't push her at all. She did her own research and then a family member in BC died and she decided to go for it too. We both got all 3 and the first booster. The next booster is here now but the new double one is coming up so I might wait for that. I'll see how long it's going to be first.

I never had anything other than a mildly sore shoulder for a day. The wife had a bad couple of days after her 2nd shot but nothing with any of the others.

I don't regret it and my wifi kicks ass now too! :D

Not really. It was designed to block infection of the strains available during the design window.

The virus mutated outside the vaccine’s best-effects domain. The fact that the vaccine is conferring some protection is fortunate, but not a design feature.

I did imagine that with the rapid-evolution-cycle tech that Pfizer etc. demonstrated in cranking out the initial formulation, wr’d be vaccinating for delta/omicron/nexticron by now. Hmmm. I may be wrong about design speed, which might have rate of spending in the denominator.

You're still talking like the shot somehow prevents contraction or spread. See OP. Not only wad CDC wrong all along, they knew they were.

This was likely a pandemic of the vaccinated. Let that sink in.

Two weeks ago I heard that exact sentence from a man who claims to be nine times as smart as Albert Einstein.

He is also homeless, and his marginally operable vehicle is filled with the typical worldlies of someone on the ragged margins of the economy.

I will confess that in the dark silent hours before dawn, I sometimes find myself beginning to doubt his self-description.
Lol, I used to encounter a similar fellow at one of the train stations. He would rant about being a scientist and how government surveillance and there being cameras all over now ruined lives...so he taped broken pieces of sunglasses all over his face. Part B distracted quite a bit from him delivering his message about part A. Often he was enjoying a steel reserve at 8am, to each their own I say, but again, didn't give me much confidence in "I'm a scientist...they are spies!"

Not until 2 weeks after the shot. Then its considered a "vaccination", according to the new protocols.

Not the actual contents of what is in the syringe, lol.

That is no "vaccine". YOU become the vaccine producer. Against something that has never even been isolated in a lab, or proven to exist beyond a computer simulation showing that it does. No virus really has, and the only indication is that your DNA has been manipulated in some way, almost as if viruses really spread by some form of code or frequencies, instead of by actual particles.

Scientists still can't exactly explain why some people get sick and some people don't, and they've been experimenting in the most inhumane ways possible for 100's if not 1000's of years. Literally putting bags over 2 animals heads, one sick one not, and only some animals would catch it. Cutting out dogs voice boxes so they can't yelp, in US funded bio labs.. Things so horrific with humans, i won't even get into..

They are formulating ways to "tax" your own body, by you allowing them to control your immune systems, and they rather suck at it. Maybe it will work someday though, who knows.

Most of the doses were placebo's, and only some real lots actually went out. Standard procedures when testing things on people. After all, they didn't really just skip the clinical testing trials, they are doing it as we speak.

Those real lots are associated with the most vears\death reports. They even have websites put up, by that people who caught on, to track those batches. I'm sure they got it all fixed by now though..

You say, "These new vaxs have lower levels of serious side effects than almost any vaccine ever made". Then how do you account for the fact that there are more reports of adverse reactions and death from "covid vax", compared to all other previous vaccines combined over the past decade?
