Vivosun VS1000 bubblegum photo and flytraps

I grow a few predators myself. I got my first muscipula, and they’re really fun and easy.
are you allowing them to eat on their own or are you just placing insects and clamping shut.

iv had mine for some time. And I can count on my hand how many times iv watered.

I catch bugs and feed by hand. I water all the time. Growing in coco
I got mine in peat. Keep ‘em on a inch of water for the spring to fall. Then i place the Terrarium in the garage with a light at 8hours to simulate their hibernation. I feed them buggers giant horses flys if I can catch ‘em lol.

Sorry to derail. Haven seen many hobbyist grow flytraps. Like little pets! All your other plants look good as well.

I should use a terrarium or something.
They come from the outer banks (North Carolina and what not) so just imagine that nasty environment. That’s what I aim to replicate. . And they multiply like crazy. 1 turns to like 25 in few months time, if you want. Lol.

This is under vs4000….. good luck , I see some lower leafs starting to canoe..

Day 1 flower. Been a great veg light. Not gonna get my hopes up, but I may cut her down to around 8 flowers. 20220329_050808.jpg20220329_051454.jpg

Flytraps getting close to opening. Smaller one is growing a spike as well. Had a mouse or something chew it up lol.
