I just can’t be angry at the victim class. That old Russian fool in the vid is saying what she has been told. I doubt I’d know better were I in her shoes. In this country we at least have the choice to read news that isn’t a product of the oligarchs.
And to rassle online with those who propagate the bs without needing to worry about a knock on the door in the wee hours.
They need to be dealt with but in the most humanely way possible and the more advantage you have over them the more magnanimous you can be. That why a Blitzkrieg attack will probably end up saving lives, by capturing whole battalions of surrounded and cut off troops. Likewise destroying the rail bridges into Ukraine from Russia could save many lives and end the war more quickly IMHO. I'm for winning, but I'm also for employing clever means to conduct a more humane war in the end by ending it quicker.

I'm afraid it will be necessary to inflict suffering on the average Russian, but it is Vlad who will cut her pension check and starve her to death in her freezing apartment.

The 130mm ammo will be a prob, ammunition mfg. is already a big prob, and I'm amazed how tank guns keep increasing, the Abrams started out at 105mm,then went to 120mm,the Russians had to have a bigger gun so they went 125mm in their T80-90's,and now 130mm,all NATO tanks were firing a standard 120 mm round,so Challengers,Leopards, and Abrams can share ammo, now this Panther w/a completely diff. round when mfg of 155mm artillery is no where near what Ukraine is using,in defense of Western miltary doctrine this type of static warfare being waged in Ukraine is the antithesis of how a combined arms war would be conducted by modern armies, lightning movement w/air support launched after suppression of air defenses has been the ethos of Western doctrine and training for decades. The capacity to mfg. artillery ammo. on an industrial scale for a static "Western Front' scenario was dismissed decades ago and the scenario that exists in the Ukraine/Russian war was never anticipated.
One of the surprises this war has brought is a repudiation of the core doctrine that the lion’s share of it will be fought in/from the air, in a very intense campaign lasting days at most.

Nobody figured on a high and sustained rate of ordnance expenditure by weapons on wheels. Gonna be a lot of new titles on library shelves in war colleges over the next decade.

The other game changer is the conversion of cheap-ass civilian drones into vicious little loitering munitions.

The Russians blew my mind w/the war plan they tried, other than the Hostemal airport battle which would have allowed the Russians to fly in all kinds of troops and equipment near Kyiv (which coincidently cost them their best troops (airborne + spec forces(Spetsnaz)). They couldn't gain air superiority and launched a miles long bumper to bumper column anyway, they're air defense suppression was lacking and Ukraine's old but still effective S-300 air defense was dispersed effectively and still has Russian pilots intimidated to fly over most of Ukraine, the US would have taken this system out before setting foot in Ukraine other than spec.force incursion. The Russian electronic jamming proved way less capable than expected in air defense repression also drones have proved very capable w/a great bang for the buck, once again though these cheap drone's signals back to the controller should be easily jammed causing them to fall out of the sky, prior to this invasion Russia had a pretty hyped electronic warfare capability, where is it? The Russian airforce? They are struggling to supress an adversary w/80-90's air defense tech and an air force lucky to put up 30 jets that have been semi obsolescent for 20 yrs. in spite of the Ukranian's pluckiness and bravery. Russia's military has performed more poorly and inefficiently than could be imagined, but when you have a dictator inspiring fear who'd ever speak the truth, mix in the grifting factor and their you have it.YES SIR,YES SIR,I AGREE SIR,IT"S MAGNIFICANT SIR.

If Vlad had a brain, he'd start leaving all of Ukraine now, because in a couple of months it will be too late. When one considers the state of the Russian army and its morale, the Ukrainian armored fist will smash trough them quickly and flood into their rear areas, this time they will be prepared to exploit their breakthroughs, even if it means having pensioner territorials manning checkpoints in the rear as they move forward.

Allocate one billion euros to Ukraine for the purchase of ammunition. And another billion - to replenish their own reserves. Such a proposal to the pan-European peace fund was made by the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, after participating in an informal meeting of EU defense ministers in Stockholm. The United States is already exploring the possibility of installing air-to-air missiles on Ukrainian MiGs. Other Western partners of Ukraine also promise to transfer the necessary weapons in the near future. About the plans of the allies - in our story.

Washing Machines, Putin & War. What do they have in common? Talking Tactics

Semiconductor chips are everywhere. In our smartphones, dishwashers, and even LED Bulbs. Obviously, they're used in a lot of military systems. So no chips, no war, or at least not so much. This was one of the ideas behind the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation after its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. But is it working?

The Dumb Reason Russia Is Losing The War

862,174 views Feb 17, 2023
Throughout history Russia has enjoyed the leadership of generals who graduated from some of the world's top military academies. Fortunately for Ukraine, the only school Russia's current military leaders graduated from was Clown College. This is the dumbest reason why Russia is slowly losing the war for Ukraine.
