Senator Tsekov pointed out the danger for Putin to fly to the BRICS in South Africa
The long flight and the tense situation in the world do not allow guaranteeing the complete safety of Russian President Vladimir Putin for his personal presence at the BRICS summit in the Republic of South Africa (South Africa). This opinion was expressed in a conversation with URA.RU by Sergei Tsekov, a member of the International Affairs Committee of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, a senator from the Republic of Crimea.

“I believe that such a long flight and a tense situation do not allow us to fully guarantee the safety of our president. There will be a desire by Americans and non-Americans to carry out some extremely unfavorable act against the President. I speak as a citizen of the Russian Federation. I think that in the current situation it is better for our president to be in Russia. If you go somewhere, then not for very long distances, to countries that are exceptionally friendly to us. South Africa is also a friendly country, but it is very far away,” said Sergey Tsekov.

According to the senator, even if the Russian leader personally attends the BRICS summit, the effect of the Rome Statute in South Africa will not threaten him. “The decision to visit or not to visit is made, first of all, by Vladimir Vladimirovich himself. Based on all the data provided by various departments, he decides what to do in reality. If we talk about me, as a citizen of the Russian Federation, who is worried about Russia, for our president, I personally would not recommend him to go to South Africa for many reasons. Not because the International Criminal Court has made a decision. I am sure that if Vladimir Vladimirovich had come to South Africa, no arrest would have followed. South Africa would not be allowed, first of all, ”the politician explained.

The BRICS summit will be held in South Africa in August. Earlier, the administration of the President of South Africa said that the country would not leave the International Criminal Court, which had previously issued a warrant for the arrest of the Russian leader. The South African edition of The Sunday Times, citing its own sources, reported that the country's authorities are negotiating with Russian representatives to develop a safe format for Vladimir Putin's participation. The host side proposes to organize the participation in the event of a number of invited persons, including Putin, via video link. Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov noted that the President of the Russian Federation will participate in the summit in the VKS format .

Saboteurs blew up railway tracks near Bryansk: the main thing by the evening of May 1
In the Bryansk region on May 1, train cars derailed along with locomotives. The cause of the incident was the undermining of the railway by saboteurs. URA.RU brings the main news by the evening of May 1.
  • In the Bryansk region on May 1, two locomotives and seven wagons derailed. This happened after the attack of two saboteurs. The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, stressed that there were no casualties. The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Belarus stressed that the train was Belarusian and was heading from Gomel to Bryansk. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation instructed to initiate a criminal case on the fact of the incident.
  • Ukraine may strike at the center of Russia on Victory Day , according to military intelligence Anatoly Matviychuk and head of the Center for the Study of Military and Political Conflicts Andrey Klintsevich. They told a URA.RU correspondent that Kyiv could use saboteurs located on Russian territory for this.
  • The Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, said that the forces of the Russian fleet, together with the means of air defense (air defense), repelled the attacks of enemy drones. All services are in a ready state.

Putin warned of new threats in the regions
Russian President Vladimir Putin warned of new threats in the regions. The head of state urged the governors to pay increased attention to the prevention of fires, as during a special operation they can become an instrument of sabotage in the country. This is how the experts explained to URA.RU the meaning of the meeting between the president and members of the Russian government on May 2. The president's special attention to the problem may lead to the resignation of the heads of regions in the near future.

At the beginning of the meeting with the government, the head of state dwelled on the problem of fires in Russia. Putin emphasized that the residents of the Sverdlovsk region were the most affected by the natural disaster, and asked Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev to report on measures to support the victims.

The head of the region told the president that the fire had engulfed six settlements in total. The village of Sosva suffered the most, where more than 100 houses burned down, about 600 people were left homeless. According to Kuyvashev, more than 2 billion rubles will be spent to help the fire victims, as well as to restore damaged infrastructure.

The governor also said that 96 million rubles were allocated from the reserve fund of the region to help the victims in Sosva, of which more than 70 million went to provide financial support to citizens. In addition, the city-forming enterprise, the medical correctional institution of the Federal Penitentiary Service, burned to the ground. Residents of Sosva asked to save jobs and restore the TB dispensary. Putin supported the initiative and instructed Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to give all the necessary instructions.

Putin also called for resolving issues of assistance to the victims without excessive bureaucracy. According to him, this concerns “the restoration of documents that many people burned down”, as well as “damage assessment”, “registration or non-registration of residential premises that might not be considered residential”, but people lived in them on a permanent basis. “You know where the problems arise,” the president summed up.

According to Orlov, Putin pays increased attention to the prevention of fires, since during the period of the NWO they can become the main instrument of sabotage in the country. In addition, the increase in fires is "a destabilizing factor that contributes to the growth of protest moods."

A colleague, Director General of the Institute of Regional Problems Dmitry Zhuravlev, agreed with him. He stressed that the threat of sabotage exists in populated regions, but fires often occur in deserted places - where it is impossible to reach. “In crowded places, sabotage is possible and fires there are more dangerous in terms of threats to human life and health, residential buildings, buildings of institutions can burn down, animals can die. But it's easier to deal with them. Half of the fires occur in deserted places and it is quite difficult to put them out,” Zhuravlev explained.

The Kremlin responded to the threat of sabotage by Ukraine on May 9
Russian services are doing everything possible to ensure security in the country. So the press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, reacted to statements by the Ukrainian authorities about sabotage on the eve of Victory Day.

“Of course, we are ready to realize that the Kiev regime, which is behind a number of such [sabotage] attacks, is ready to continue to pursue its line. All our special services are doing everything necessary to ensure security,” Dmitry Peskov stressed during the conference call. His words are quoted by the correspondent of URA.RU. He recalled that the Russian Federation continues to conduct a special operation on the territory of Ukraine in order to ensure the security of Russia.

Has been a while since anything newsworthy was in the Russian media.

Shoigu: Ukraine lost 15 thousand people in a month
Ukraine lost 15,000 soldiers in the previous month. This was stated by the head of the Russian Defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu.

“Losses of Ukrainian troops over the past month amounted to more than 15 thousand people,” Sergei Shoigu said, his words are quoted by the Ministry of Defense in telegram channel. He noted that the Russian military destroyed eight aircraft, 277 UAVs and 430 tanks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in April.

277 UAVs and 430 tanks? Maybe that many UAV's as they run into a Russian piece of hardware.

430 tanks? They're supposed to have around 1000, at least about a month ago...so russia took out almost half of Ukraine's tanks in one month?...

The word in that that makes me tip my head sideways like a confused dog is "accuses"...
SO FUCKING WHAT? You're at war, you have bounties on Zelensky's head, on the heads of several Ukrainian officials, you're murdering their people, and kidnapping their children. You try to sabotage their nuclear plants, you bomb apartment buildings, churches, schools, and hospitals...And you ACCUSE Ukraine of attempting to kill putin? You're fucking right they tried, the sad thing is they failed. I sincerely, truly, deeply hope they keep trying till they succeed. And that it doesn't take long at all.

In all reality, it was all probably staged by the russians for internal propaganda, But as far as I'm concerned, the Ukrainians would be fully justified and well within bounds to launch 1000 drones on the kremlin...

They are the Donald of the world nukes make them special. Someone looks at Trump the wrong way and it's a big deal, just holding him to account like any other person is a "big deal". Vlad's string of crimes and offenses is forgotten as the focus rests on the poor victim, who has been indicted for crimes against humanity. If there was justice in the world it would have been a much more effective UN drone hunting Putin and it would have gotten him too.

I doubt the Ukrainians even did this, it is most likely a false flag and pretext to use a nuke in Ukraine. This would deflect from the fact that they are going to suffer a fucking HUGE humiliating military defeat and possible collapse there in a matter of weeks. If the Ukrainians wanted to attack the Kremlin with drones it would have been much more effective than this. The two-dozen small cheap decoy drones would have been covered in Aluminum tape to reflect back better on radar so the bigger stealth ones could get to the target.
