Wedding cake garage ten grow diary

depends if you got some cash bro, if you can get a good deal on a air cooled hood that could def help your situation. you will always get better growth with an HID over cfls but yah 35, is pushing it :fire:plants can handle some pretty high temps with enough root mass and water, some strains better then others.
Id lift the light up to make sure its not light stressed
run the light s on over night and off while the sun is hitting the garage at peak time as best as possible.
If its 36 outside the garage its gonna be tough to keep things down for sure.
Man that was hard work lol ! I had one these in loft forgot all about it ! Feels like it took some light away now though what u think guys

nice bro! what did it do for the temps?
It probably just seems like less light but its just not blasting you in the eyes anymore... maybe a slight decrease from the glass, just keep the glass clean.
Also try and reduce the sharp bends in the ducting. Those 90 bends can really reduce CFMs a surprising amount making your fan struggle.

Looks good dude, pretty sweet you had one laying around!

I suggest doing a really good prune of the plants lower 1/3 under the netting. Id also remove some of the big canopy fan leaves.

This will prevent you having a ton of Larf that wont develop under the netting and will give you denser top buds.

Have you ever heard of schwazzing or one node and flip?

I have been told by a master grower friend of mine that when they did experiments with netting / training they found that bending the plants over and over into the netting actually slowed down the plants growth/bud formation compared to the controls. He said they get the best results with no scrogging and simply doing a 14 day veg into flower and letting the plants grow straight then adding a layer of netting on top at week 3 for support. Key factor being 14day veg so the plants probably only get a foot tall in veg and end at like 3 feet tall.

ill take pics of my wedding cakes, like i said they got mad out of control... grew way to tall... I would not normally have let it happen but I had to go away for 5 days mid flower and when I came back it was already an issue.. I should be able to pull it off... not optimal the light is way to close... I will keep them like 1 foot next time pre flower. Ill take pics later when light comes on
