So i have this hang up that when i get something I've never grown before i wanna find pics of the strain in veg...to see how close the plants i have are to the accepted norm or original creation. I got these seeds from a guy here on RIU and im liking what i see whaddya think @PJ Diaz et.al. they look good? Listen to this bloodline, i wont copy paste our convo but he says these are;

Idk how any hardcore growers feel about this but im pretty friggin stoked about what im seeing in veg compared to what i can find. Just transplanted recently so gonna flower in a week or so. Wondering if any of you feel the urge to comment "nah they dont look right"?

They look good. Maybe slightly wider leaves than the jbeezy cut.

My understanding was that wedding cake was a seedjunky (jbeezy) triangle mints pheno grown selected and named by jungle boys, they then returned the cut to seedjunky who f4d it using select phenos from the original triangle mints stock. It tastes like vanilla and citrus frosting with a hint of gas and is hands down one of my favourite strains ever. In the U.K. I’ve only ever had access to cuts selected from the f4 stock chosen for their similarity to the jungle boys cut. Jungle boys wedding cake packs here cost around £100 for a 3.5 and they fly out.

Jb implemented cannaverify on all their packs a few years back, but unfortunately you are right it does happen, however I would never buy a pack that I couldn’t verify, I mean not jb anyways.

I’m not sure I understand what ur saying. How is the jb I buy sus? Cannverify is there to prevent people being scammed, jb don’t even grow the f4 stuff as far as I’m aware, it’s all the same cut so there’s only one phenotype. The cut they grew and sold and their customers named.
I’ve had a few diff bits of wedding cake that hasn’t been from jb, and they’ve all been hunted from the jbeezy f4 packs.
but for sure the wedding cake by jungle boys we’ve had is legit, well as legit as the cannverify can guarantee, granted some computer wiz could probably build software to aid in the counterfeiting of the packs.
do you know what cannverify is?
edit: I think I know what you mean now, yeah of course I’d buy anything I wanted and am certainly not a packaging snob, a lot of growers are doing a better job than the big canna companies. I’d rather buy it off someone growing it on a smaller scale as they often pay more attention to detail and a sale means more to them and their families, I was just saying in the U.K. the jungle boys wedding cake is the only real deal wedding cake we can get our hands on where we can actually say it’s the legit cut.
I wasn’t trying to say urs wasn’t legit, and given the choice of course I’d rather buy it off you than line the pockets of multi million dollar companies.

I wouldn't. The pics you posted looks like good flower, but don't look like Wedding Cake to me. Wedding Cake is a select pheno of Triangle Mints.
