Lol, yeah man, it is cinnamon. Good guess

I had some around my plants and on a particularly windy day, some of it got swept up and sprinkled around my big blue who is closest to the fan and that blew some onto the buds...I removed as much as I could but some is still stuck there. I'm not trippin about it because I've had cinnamon laced cannabis and it is delicious in my opinion

never heard of iy for anything but ants but glad it worked. and if you want really good preventors against bugs then i would get some lady bugs and some preying mantises, they will take out any bad bug, lady bugs are cheap here they are 10 bucks for 1800 and they last along time and they are cool i am not sure baout the preying mantises though.

lady bugs are koo and all but theyll only eat mites if theyre starving. there are predatory bugs such as mantises but theyre a lot of money and i dont completly agree with introducing bugs to my grow. outdoor is expected to have some pests but its great when there isnt.

no they eat mites and aphids along with all soft bodies bugs, i have also had them take out a few ants surprisingly. lady bugs are heap, mantises im sure are more but you could find a few and th4n keep them and have babies the mantises eat any type of bug really they even kill bees. i was just throwing it out theri in the open as a suggestion for the future, i didnt mean for it to sound like me saying you had to if it did. and as long as the bugs dont eat my plants or anything then i wouldnt mind putting them in at all.

know you didnt, ive used lady bugs in my indoor all the time i use a mix of ladies and neem oil to get rid of them and they are always gone in about 5 days and stay gone. but no they are not a cure all for every bug or mites if you dont know how to use them right.
im gonna go check out your thread right now and see what you got goin and growing

So the cold is here and Big Blue is turning a beautiful shade of purple on the new growth and tips of older growth. It's pretty awesome to see it happen...I'm so amazed by all that this plant I grew from seed has become. It's all Big Blue pictures below, enjoy!:leaf:

Chopped G.G's clone this morning! No more random bagseeds for me :)
I'm going to give her a week of drying as I cut her down from the bottom of her main stalk instead of each branch individually. I haven't tried drying like this before so I'm giving it a go. Hanging her upside down in an empty closet with a small fan pointed at the wall at the bottom of the closet, not directly at the plant. Smells incredible, like candy, cinnamon, and some spicy smells as well:grin:

The rest of the girls are turning more and more purple each night. The weather is supposed to get warm this weekend and through to Tuesday where I am so I'm thinking Big Blue will love some more summer like weather 1-2 weeks before chopping. As for the GDP's, I'm going to let them keep growing as long as possible

In response to Mcpurple and Bigcheese:
I've had ladybugs before but it's true that they don't eat everything you want them to eat. I had aphids and a small group of spider mites in the greenhouse back in July/August but a combination of the following methods helped me win the war: dry ice clouding, cold water jet sprays (mixed with hemp soap, American Spirit organic tobacco extract, canola oil, and cinnamon) various sprayings with Captain Jack's Deadbug, and ladybugs/spiders.
The ladybugs I introduced to my greenhouse found their escape after a couple days. I had hoped it was because there were no pest left for them to eat inside the greenhouse...because I know there are a bunch of edible buggies for ladybugs on the hillside next to the greenhouse as thats where I captured the ladybugs in the first place...
I had some spiders in the greenhouse because they are everywhere around my property and they make useful webs that catch all the annoying flying pests around my garden/greenhouse including all kinds of flying types of bugs. I saw a bigger spider catch a moth in its web and eat it, that was pretty cool...a natural way to stop worms from being born
As for mantises, I didn't think to introduce one...but at this point, I think the girls will be fine...no signs of any pests in a long time :weed:

Plus I'm less than a month away from harvest for every plant and there aren't too many bugs out anymore since the weather got cold again

Also, thanks Illumination! Always showering me with compliments

i love to grow all things and all plants, i want to go to college to take botany, agriculture, biology, horticulture classes so i can learn as much as i can cuz i want to open a nursery that sells every thing from soil to lights and hydro systems. and their wont be much money to make in cali off meds any more if the laws pass, theri isnt reall much to make as of now either since every one is doing it

im going to disagree with there is not much money to be made on meds. there is plenty of money to be made off meds. there is a lot of people out there that dont smoke cuz its illegal and dont have scripts. do you have a problem selling or donating your meds now or are greedy clubs low balling ? there will always be a market for high grade top shelf meds no matter how much is out there. now to factor in influx of new smokers if 19 passes. what you described about the nursery sounds like my local hydro store unless you want to sell live flowers and an array of other non mmj plants. do you want to grow all the plants you sell or would it come from a farm like most do ? if thats what makes you happy id say do it and love everything you do. no sense of going thru life unhappy.

i just dont see much money being made with all the huge marijauna growing facilities going up down in cali i could be wrong but it will be like alcohol a store on every corner and each store is only really making enough to get by. i used to sell illegaly but dont any more cuz i was busted, and i have no prob with people going it we dont have clubs to donate to unless its for free or its breaking the law in oregon. and as for my nursery/grow store i would have all plants available all grown by me and hired help i see it being cheaper that way.
its ok to disagree though only time will really tell.
