Ok. I'm not talking straight THC, ya'll are talking semantics now. THC, THCV, CBN, CBD. What the fuck ever. The content will be MORE THAN 60, by the time it goes through all those filters, even if it doesn't hit 20%, and is between 10-15%. THE 150 MICRON SCREEN pulled out 14g from 56g. Making it (estimated) 25% of the original 56g, and around 50% of that is THC (semantics WHATEVER) content if we estimate at 10%(which would be shitty).

you still got it wrong. hash will never be more then what it originally consisted of. 15% cannibinoid content is still 15%. you cannot change the base oil (that is what each trich is, is an oil globe).

again, 56g of trim .... you pulled 14g ..... we'll assume the entire ammount is pure trichs and no veg matter/stalks made it into your sift (however, a 1-2g estimate would be better) .... this means you got 42g of left over veg matter. that 14g is STILL only 15% cannibinoid content, removing the veg matter does not increase content.

I never said you could change the content of THC, you are just taking the THC out of the plant material. I never ever ever said that. I did the math for that with 10%!!!!

Removing veg matter removes some of the other 85% though!!!!!
What do you think that percent is based on??? It's percent of THC by weight. There is more % /weight when you take plant material out of the equation.
 
i can talk and talk and talk, but you still don't seem to get it. your base 'assumptions' are wrong. the % is NOT based on the overall weight of the beggining plant material (because plant matter contains NO cannibinoids). this is a semi-common misconception. since you have so much time on your hands, I suggest reading up on the subject or calling a lab so they can explain it to you.

Well then you're not even talking about the same thing as me AT ALL.

I'm talking about how using the screens is going to purify it from plant material to hash/keif, and how it will have more Cannabinoids by weight in the hash than the plant material, which is unarguable. we're talking about 2 COMPLETELY different things. Sorry for the confusion.

If 1 gram of bud has a 15% thc content, 15% of that bud, so 150 milligrams, of that bud is thc
Correct?

For conversions in a percent where you don't know the weight, just convert the % to grams. So 15 grams out of 100 grams (15/100) is .15 of THC content or 15 percent. Just do the opposite order to find out weight content. 15% THC is .15 THC * 1 gram is .15 grams of THC or 150 milligrams/gram if you want to convert to the "proper" units.

Hey no name calling, Eyecandi is one of the most decent people on here, he is every respectful and has built a big local following of us on here. Remember when you call him a "fuckstick" you are insulting a lot of us, i am sure that i am not the only one here who would have eyecandi's back no matter what the situation.
He is stating facts, he knows his shit, ask anyone on here, staying on his good side is one of the best things you could do, let me just say, when someone is talking about an EC exclusive, it comes directly from him. He was decent to you didn't call you any names, truely don't believe he has it in him, just tried to explain what he has found in all of his research.
If there is any local grower here who can and will help you in everyway, it is eyecandi. So you may watch what you say on these local threads, we are actually friends here, not just people talking the internet......
 
And where did you get the idea that THC % is based on weight? Not all percentages are weight based. Also, i own a 25 micron bag, and honestly it is one of the last i smoke. It is not very good, just melts well.

You're wrong. Why do you like acting like you know me. And I'm not a fugitive, that charge has no effect here, and it's just a piece of paper. Even when I was still in Texas it didn't effect me.
I literally have needs for MJ, why don't you go read those threads I was in instead of the same ones over and over, where you try to argue with me.

I was calling him what he was being. A dick. I'm talking about how "With less plant material, there will be a higher percentage of THC by weight." And he's on a completely different subject. So that's on you, if you took offense. I didn't even ask for his help either, he just came on here.
He may be stating facts, BUT HE'S NOT ON THE SAME SUBJECT AS ME. So it doesn't matter.

Now I know that what I was talking about was apparently "content by weight" and not just "content". I don't need any more information that that though, and that is why it has come to names and me not wanting to hear his shit.
If he was telling me this in a setting where I wanted to know wheat he was talking about, I'd be glad to hear it. But this is a thread, where I was talking about something else, mistaken;y called it something, and RECALLED MY WORDING. So I really never wanted to know what he's talking about, it's IRRELEVANT.

I'm doing mine by weight. That's where I got that idea. When I figure out my buds THC content, it will be by getting ALL the Alkaloids out, after weighing the bud, then weighing the alkaloids, all on a .001 scale. Then from there I'm just going to figure out my Mg of THC per G. I don't care if that's not how other people do it. That's how I will do it, and that is what I will base it off of.

Unfortunately this formula will not work. You are not taking into consideration that ALL thc will not be extracted...and a portion of your 15% example WILL be plant matter, a big portion. When I first got into making hash I mistakenly thought the 25micron was the best, however the 73-90 micron is the best for quality. BTW, I use an 8bag set made by "Bubblebag", made probably 100 runs over the years, and have only been able to hit 54% with standard methods. I really need to know your secret.
