What are the most premium seeds?

Would the likes of sensi and greenhouse count as premium genetics?

Why are some seed companies selling seeds for so expensive? Are they better or just flavor of the month?

Do the old genetics from Europe stand up against modern Cali hybrids for flavor, thc and terps?

sensi went down hill some time ago, they still sell some great seeds, but like the weed in the dam, theres a lot of just good stuff , not the best. but if you had coffee shops selling the fully flowered , mature buds with a percentage of CBN in it, then the shops would be full of people just monged out, not being very lively and wanting to party n spend cash.
so they dumbed down the weed and hash, from what ive been told

Yea I don't personally care for feeling stupid, confused, narcoleptic or dizzy/falling over. I just want happiness & pain relief. Can I get that without cbn?

Depends, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

To me the most premium beans are gonna be in someone's freezer labeled Road Kill Skunk...if you got that, then you really got something...

Everything else...is just 2nd string. The real premium seeds are the ones of strains people think are extinct (that came in seed form of course...clone only dies and that's a wrap, closest you'll get is s1 or bx or something with seeds that came from a "clone only")

Right dude, I quit smoking that shit when I found pictures of cartel members peeing on big pallets of it...it's like how could you grow such shit weed? I mean they must've literally just harvested open pollination weed.

Then pissed on it.

id gladly smoke some piss over some of the other possibilities, i smoked plenty of brick weed in my day, i shudder to think of how much poison ive probably blazed

What's funny is. . .. of all the seeds I've popped, paid for by me or someone else, ranging from $3 per seed to upwards of $30 per seed. ... The best shit I've grown to date was a random chuck my buddy made & I dropped one single seed, & it was absolutely perfect in every way.
I'm not saying the quality of weed is proportional to the cost of the seed, but knocks offs aren't the real thing. I remember the first time seeing actual GSC come through a legit cross after running copycat versions. It was like spotting a small sasquatch as opposed to a big guy in a crappy ape costume. Aside from mislabeled or "sort of" genetics, you're dealing with the potential for hermies and whatever else the unknown brings.

I'm also not saying you have to be an dominating force in the market to be a good breeder. A lot of the smaller guy's strains end up becoming part of the genetic gumbo of future strains. There are just way too many breeders pumping out garbage on both ends of the scale. Saving a buck isn't worth it. Spending 30$ per seed probably isn't worth it either. What strain was that?

Some people are greedy some arent some love the plant some love money more as for usa vs europe theres good and bad breeders/chuckers everywhere price doesnt always dictate quality ime with cannabis genetics my advice go with people who care for the plant and who put the work in over whats the most expensive or hype

Yeah agreed dead lines or last pack on earth stuff is what i would say you should value higher over say like years ago when alien genetics were selling for silly money for example aint saying they aint good i just using it as an example to illustrate my point

"premium genetics" isnt a real thing. Its a hollow marketing term like "all natural" or where i live the new term for good weed is "exotic", Replace those terms or "premium genetics" with "in demand hype" and youre onto it. Im in the states and prefer US seedbanks and breeders, i often say with blatant bias that theyre the best in the world. Theres a bit of trendy bandwagon behavior and "fake" or debated versions and cuts of strains that i could do without and some shady breeders to wade through but theres so much phenomenal stuff here

i dont really ever fret about seed costs per se. All of the breeders I patronize charge $10-15 per feminized seed (+ freebies) and since i clone and keep most of them (some for multiple years) I make my money back more than ten fold on every decent seed i pop.

If i can make hundreds and hundreds, maybe even thousands on one $10 seed its a no brainer. Take my money lol. I almost feel like im underpaying sometimes, assuming its a tested stable of seeds.
